His body temperature drained away bit by bit, yet he felt warmth rising from the depths of his soul. In his haze, the tent flap seemed to move. Wind and snow carried moonlight that spilled across the letter. However, in Axel's fading vision, the glow slowly gathered into a white silhouette. It was blurred and transparent, seemingly as fragile as glass. "Axel, have sweet dreams." The wind seemed to carry Seraphina's whisper. Axel struggled to reach toward the figure. His fingers passed through empty air, grasping nothing. Yet, he looked as content as if he had captured the entire world. He eventually let his hand fall.

I’ll finish the game first and come to the hospital later. The call disconnected. Each beep felt like something inside me breaking. When no one loves you, even dying wouldn’t matter to anyone. By the time I left the hospital, it was already evening. I called Ronan, wanting to talk about the divorce. He didn’t answer. Then suddenly my phone flooded with notifications from a group chat. I opened it. Brynn had posted a video. Ronan was at a karaoke bar named Nocturne, singing a love song to her.

He grabbed a pair of shorts before pointing to a white drawer under a bunch of dresses. "Those are swimsuits. Pick which one you like. I'll meet you in the water." He walked out with his shorts, shutting the door behind him. I rummaged through the swimsuits. I pulled out a yellow flowy top and connected to it was high waisted white bottoms covered in sunflowers. I pulled it on and walked out into the room. Diesel was under the water, his black hair floating around his head. He came up to the surface. His hair stuck to him and water dripped down his jaw to his chest. His eyes found me and widened, a smile on his face.

He looked so tall and intimidating at the moment, that she felt uncomfortable and scared. "So Jewel what's the password?" He asked softly in his deep voice making her to purse her lips in a thin line. "I-I d-don't know." She mumbled in a soft voice as he crouched in front of her and yet he looked big and tall. His icy gray eyes kept looking at her which made her extremely uncomfortable and the cold hush of wind from the window invaded the room swirling with her hairs and at that moment she realised that her hairs were still wet.

I have a feeling that this year is going to be an even wilder winter. *The End*

The house was pitch black not helping the situation as Jake turned on his torchlight on his phone. Ashley clenched onto Jake’s arm as they carefully walked through the house. As they made their way towards the stairs Jake turned to check on Ashley, who scanned the pitched dark place with fright, “Are you alright?” Jake asked as Ashley sighed shakingly, “I don’t remember the house being this dark,” she said as Jake hummed, “Maybe the power went out,” he said as Ashley stayed silent before they stopped in front of the stairs, “We’re going up the stairs now, baby, hold onto me,” Jake said as Ashley hummed while holding onto his arms as they carefully walked up the stairs.
