Something flickered in his eyes and for moment I thought it was fear. "No, sorry I don't know" I replied honestly. The guard that told me about the blood castle was interrupted by Maximus before I could ask more questions. Jace pondered this for a moment and drifted a little further away from me. There was a woman who was of her mother's age and a girl who seemed older than her and beautiful and lastly a boy who seemed Kyson's age. He had blonde hair and sharp features and good-looking for his age. He seemed dangerous but Ingrid could not help but felt drawn towards him.

She missed, and the witch hit her with a ball of energy. Gail cried out as it sizzled through her body. She swung the bat again, using the pain of the spell that hit her to fuel the swing.
