No simple task, to be sure. He chuffed as he came to a halt for the others to stop. There was a little confusion from the witches, but that was understandable. They weren’t trained to fight with intelligent beings that can’t speak a language they know. The idea of wolf shifters or werewolves could speak or use telepathy was laughable to Chris and many others. They did have a form of simplified language that they were taught when they first shifted in later childhood. There weren’t formal lessons, but it was something a wolf picked up along the way.
