Witchcraft Ideas Novels & Stories

I started with the wild scattering of books on my desk, closing some, pushing some to the side until I found it. The parchment. I held it like a trophy, reading the statement again. “I strongly believe that the key to overcoming the witches involved in sorcery is by finding the Crimson Circle. Not much has been said of this organizations, but they definitely exist. A group of men and women who have sworn to do evil.” I groaned. “Oh, Henry, you don’t expect us to figure this out, do you?” I folded the parchment. That nothing much hasn’t been said about the Crimson Circle doesn’t mean nothing hasn’t been said at all.

By the time I'm done I have five pages of neatly written steps, runes, herbs and spells that will give me a potion that can take off all illusions. The moment I'm done, the knowledge leaves me and retreats back to that space of my mind that's now filled with new knowledge. For a moment I do nothing but stare at the things I've written down while one question runs through my mind. Even if I have the steps and spells for the potion available to me, is it safe for me to do something like this on pack soil? Witchcraft isn't outlawed in the Silvercrest pack but it's not allowed either. Witches are more of a myth than actual beings in this pack. Coren might have shown signs of extreme hatred for w

Witchery involves harnessing the magic already existent throughout the world with rituals and recipes, while warlocks are those who wield the magic of creatures from beyond this world. He wrinkles his nose very delicately. ‘Not warlocks, but some witches, especially those that identify as pagans. Mystics—human practitioners who find ways to harness the magic within their mortal bodies—also tend to work, but they’re very uncommon in this city. I’ll tell you more about them next time I give you and Scintilla a lesson in sorcery.’ He doesn’t seem inclined to explain more, and I don’t want to ask, either, in case I reveal something that I’m not supposed to, so instead I just let him help me heal

After several hours of research, I came across the words ‘witchcraft.’ There wasn’t a lot available online but after looking through all available websites, I found it quite easy to learn how to counter any of the witch’s spells in addition to knowing where to find books, journals, and other things related to them. However, that only meant that I could only know so much in order to avoid becoming caught up in all those horrible events. Still, that was better than being completely ignorant, which is probably why these articles weren’t too informative at first. One paragraph in particular hit home though and made me realize exactly what I am dealing with. In it, there is a section titled, ‘Th

“You mean it won’t be easy.” She shook her head. “Witches are tricksters. They’re slippery and sly. They can teleport, change their appearance, and even move their entire homes with the snap of a finger. If you make an attempt and fail, the witch will come after you with a vengeance unlike anything you’ve ever seen.” The warning hung heavy in the air. Nathan, who had been silently listening, finally spoke. “So, if we do this, we have to get it right the first time. No room for errors.”

“It sounds less like wishing and more like an intense willing. This book seems to indicate that you must will it enough that you don’t need to put it into words, because rituals don’t understand spoken language—just your emotions, your desires. And there’s always a price, as well—lost limbs, organs, aging, even a life. Apparently, the only way to get around that is to do a separate ritual to establish a sacrifice, a sort of proxy, though even creating this proxy can cost you.” Loretta scowled. “That book’s ancient. It’s probably outdated! Hell with it, I’m giving it a try.” “Are you sure that’s a good idea?” I asked. Now that I’d read the books, I was not so eager for Loretta to attempt this

She shook her head and started to pace the room. “What is it? What do you see that I’m not? I mean, I see the strange outline that surrounded what I assume was the boys. In the next image, the outline and they are gone.” I asked as I got up. “Could it be witchcraft?” “That outline isn’t a simple circle or a pentagram. If it were witchcraft, it would be one of those shapes.” Sarael sighed. She looked at the image again and, after tapping around a little on the screen, turned it back to me.

I stopped for a while to put my thoughts in words but he had already understood my intentions as he said "You want the sacred potion to remove all your traces and so that not even your scent will be left behind." "Yes" I replied timidly knowing how difficult that task would be. He roared from the other end "You dare ask me do it, I will be killed by the master and you know it how rare that possession is if they find out you were here and instead of bringing you to them, I helped you escape, they will kill me." I listened to him then said softly "Alright, the other one would do to, I just want to remove my scent temporarily and I promise I won't let anyone find out just do that for me."

I opened the door to my office and made my way to the desk and sat down in my chair. I ran my fingers through my hair and let out a long breath while leaning back in my chair. ‘Alpha?’ one of the omegas that was in charge of watching Viviana’s parents mind linked me. ‘what is it Felix?’ ‘our guests are getting restless and are wondering when they could speak to you’ he responded back to me. ‘Tell them, I am still out and will be home shortly’. ‘Yes Alpha.’ I put my head in my hands and closed my eyes. There has to be a way to come up with a peaceful solution. Alec scoffed ‘oh yeah because when have we known witches to be peaceful?’ he spat at me. I rolled my eyes to his comment but he wasn’

“What else don’t I know?” “Well, most packs have to worry about witches. Expect for Wolf Creek. I’m not sure of the full extent, but I heard your pack does things to appease them.” “Like what?” I couldn’t imagine what the pack gave in exchange for being on the witches’ good side. “I’ve heard all kinds of stories. Crazy things like sacrificing babies, or creating wolf-witch hybrids, to simpler things like growing herbs for them.” Shelia shrugged. “Who knows what the truth is.”
