The adult werewolves chattered amongst themselves, some in groups and others in pairs. I should have felt sheer unbridled abhorrence towards them for everything they had put me through. 5 years of name calling and unwarranted scornful insults, I stood on the raised podium, as their Luna. Following the threat from the alpha leader, they had no choice but to submit to the very witch they apparently loathed.

The moment Hylda came into the picture and put Sadie to death the tradition had died with her. The witch's quarters looked old and worn down from years of neglect. Sadie was long gone by the time she had even been permitted to enter the pack house but she'd heard from the older generations what it used to be like. The walls apparently had a glow to them from the amount of magick in the room. There was rumored to be a large crystal sat in a well, center of the room where the users would replenish themselves. Foliage decorated the room making it look like a green house with work stations set up. Large wooden work tables covered in rare ingredients and spells books from past generations lay on

One of the reasons my gammas are constantly inside the borders. Thirty six witches (male and female), divided in five covens, Arkana being the strongest of them with twelve members, and Black Jade being the newest with only three members. I see it as just kids rebelling against their witchy parents. Thinking they know best, i guess. There are some rivalries amongst them, but nothing serious. I believe most of them are basically fortune tellers or charlatans. Still, i always keep tabs. Better safe than sorry.

We sat down and began to eat. That's when we heard a strange noise. It sounded like someone was approaching our campsite. We stood up, trying to figure out what was happening. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a group of witches appeared. They were not like any other witches I had seen before. They were blood drinkers, and their eyes were red like fire. We tried to run, but they were too fast for us. They surrounded us, and before we could react, they attacked us. They were much stronger than us, and it seemed like they were overpowering us.

“What if I told you that I knew you would say that? Oh please, don't mess with an orchestrator! Anyway, what do you think you're doing? Are you trying to sell your family out to save this bitch?” "That is indeed correct. Smarter than I expected.” He responded, finally turning to her. They spoke like they used to have more playful quarrels. “Don't even attempt doing such. We don't betray, We are witches and wizards. It makes no sen-”. “Witches and wizards? We're halfly wolves, we only possess witches and wizards powers.”. "Wolves are betrayers, I get it but we're not full wolves. Witches and wizards don't sell themselves out!”.

I shouted. "Yeah, I did good." She wiggled her hips, after that giving me a high-five. "What kind of book is it?" I grimoire,” my lips tugged downward. Her brown eyes were framed with white. "A grimoire, as in what witches use?" I nodded slowly. "Yeah." "Oh, my God. Shifters are real. Witches are real. That means...aliens are, too. Ah!" Her scream set my nerves on fire, and I growled, grappling her around the shoulders. "Get yourself together, Miss Vargas."

he asks, his voice filled with both hope and concern. "That's a possibility. Yeah," I breathe. For her and Adam's sake, I hope she's not. "Witches had kingdoms of their own, before they started regrouping into covens," I say, skimming through one of the pages. "Yes? And that matters to Tammy how?" "It doesn't. I just thought you'd find it interesting to know," I respond. "Well, it wasn't. And I'm pretty sure everyone here knows that." I turn through the book about werewolves and witches, then stop, the title in a particular chapter catching my attention.

That he’d been lying. Aria pulled every book she could find on witches down from the shelves, stacking them around her chair until she was half barricaded in by old leather tomes. She flipped through page after page, scanning faded ink and brittle parchment. Most of it she already knew, the stories she had read before. That the six original witches had created the other supernatural races, wolves, vampires, fae, demons. That those creations eventually turned on them, wiping them out and slaughtering their direct lines.

I can feel the power in their steps, the urgency in their movements. The path ahead is dark, but we have the scent of the Wendigos to guide us. They won’t escape. Not while I’m Alpha. *** Alex The air is thick with the smell of burning flesh, the stench of decay, and the metallic scent of the witches' blood. Through the trees, I see the women, their hands are raised, their faces contorted in concentration, but it’s clear they’re fighting a losing battle. Thirteen witches, different forms of magic crackling around them, battling the Wendigos in a desperate fight. Fire, water, wind, earth — each witch wields strong power, but their faces are pale with exhaustion.

He pleaded, the strength he had been using to hold himself tall faltering, feeling the witch's power, knowing if she willed it he could be torn apart with a thought from her. "She will be safe. We have planned for this." She assured him, as he saw a glow erupt from within each of the women as they stalked out onto the dark and broken ski hill. Before the bird woman went too far she turned around, "Just one question, we found six dead wolves at the original crime scene, yours?" She asked. Alexander nodded, a bit dumbfounded the witches had time to investigate at the school, and get here minutes after Alexander had. "Sorry for your loss, they didn't stand a chance against Valentina." Then she
