I can’t shake the feeling that more than just our immediate concerns are at play here. “Alright, let’s start the procedure,” Elysia commands, her tone leaving no room for delay. The other two witches move closer, their focus sharp. Bertha places an onyx crystal in the center of the room, its dark surface gleaming with latent power. They join hands, forming a circle, and their faces are set with determination.

Alice rolled her eyes, "Just do the thing already, witch." The witch unwrapped the head and waved her hands over it, muttering spells under her breath. After a while, Leo's head floated in the air, rising a few inches above the witch's head and staying there. She intensified her chants and waved her body wildly, her eyes closed in concentration.

But for the sake of ensuring there is nothing intertwined with the bigger spell, she needs to continue to unravel it. There is a rush of wind. Everyone steps back as three witches walk through the fog that came with them. “Welcome,” my mother says to the trio as she takes a step back from her task. I see she is already done. She nods at me, that I can start my work. I look to Rick who bends down giving me a kiss, “You have got this sweetheart,” he says as he wraps his arms around me. His strength will get me through the next couple of hours of unravelling the spell surrounding the dungeons. Elizabeth POV

My eyes must be deceiving me. Then the alarm sounds and she looks scared and she proceeds to open up the boot of her car where she brings out a gagged Stephanie. There are two of them? What the hell is happening? It takes me a minute but it finally clicks. “It's the witches.” I say out loud. “What are you talking about?” Chef asks me. “The woman with the book isn't Stephanie it's a witch. Remember you and Kylie said that the witch you saw changed her appearance and we knew that there was a possibility the witches with the rogue Alpha could do the same.” I remind him.

My eyes were fixated on the witch at the top of the stairs thinking of all the ways I could kill her. 'Her blood will taste amazing,' Cinnabar was huffing and pacing in my mind. He was the only reason I'd made small progress of moving my arms. We could feel through the connection that Eloise was in pain. She was distressed. 'The pups,' my wolf growled out. A snarl ripped through my lips sounding muffled but loud enough to make the witch turn to us once again. She rolled her orange eyes at me stepping down the stairs with her arms crossed.

My Beta just growls back to me, oh I hope it’s not the two of them that are coming. “Morgan, Diona and Nessa please step forward” The sister says and I watch as my Beta swears under his breath. The three witches step forward and slip their robes off leaving them in all black with a small satchel over their shoulder. All three are dressed identical with their hair braided back, they look the part.

With that she turned to walk away, the witches started the ritual as they poured the heart of the pup and another one that they brought out from a sack. The cauldron started to ooze reddish smoke causing the children to tremble in fright, they all watched the ritual which got more and more bloody as soon the witches chopped the head of the pup and tilted his body inside the cauldron such that the blood gushing out would go inside the cauldron.

I commanded. "Understood, Alpha. They shall be prepared as per your instructions." My elation knew no bounds. I had spent years searching for these witches, renowned for their formidable powers. Their expertise in crafting and casting unimaginable spells was unparalleled. I eagerly anticipated laying my eyes upon them. ~ The following day, as I had informed my beta, we set out towards the witches' coven. Upon arrival, I removed my cloak and handed it to one of my men. I had learned that the witches held a rule that outsiders should not wear cloaks, as it identified them as part of their kind. With this in mind, I ventured into the cave.

The enchanted witch waved her arm forward and pointed at the door as she spoke. “Move out!” She yelled, and her team marched forward with her. Addison was already chanting as she walked up the stairs. The wind blew against her, and the shadow figures swirled around her body from her feet upwards. As she reached the top of the stairs, she thrusted her hands forward, and the doors shattered, imploding inward. Chaos erupted as she entered the building with her team close behind her.
