Thank you so much for coming along with me on this adventure. This first book has proven to be extremely difficult. I’m sure you’re wondering if Sierra’s journey will end here, or what Zaiden will discover in Queen Esme’s journal. Well, I won’t keep you waiting too long. I will reveal all this and more in the novels that follow. Order of the Ambersky Pack Series: 1. Wolves & Magic (completed) 2. A Dark Revenge (TBD)

“Excuse me, sir? Will you be checking any of these books out?” He tilted his head at her in confusion. He had reserved no books. The robrarian expected his question and spoke once more. “Your friend with the tail thought you would need these.” She showed him the different titles. The Lust Chronicles, I Am What I Am Accept It, My Lycanthrope Lover, How Not To Be An Asshole, and more. He nodded his head in understanding. She was a cheeky person when she wanted to be. He liked that.

She pushed that down deep, sipping from stored bags in the fridge. Rain hammered the windows that Tuesday night. Lydia sat at her desk, sorting through a box of new books. One caught her eye: Spirits of the Wild: Bindings and Releases. The cover was cracked leather, smelling like dirt and old forests. She flipped it open, her fingers brushing over faded words in some ancient tongue. "Just a peek," she told herself. Curiosity burned in her chest. She read the spell aloud, soft and quick, like testing a locked door. The air changed. It got heavy, like before a storm. Candles on the shelves flickered wild, shadows dancing on the walls. A rumble started low, from the book itself. Lydia's hands s

Next I felt her tiny hands struggling with the silver chains. The chains were a little long and she was able to strech up her hand and touch me. As her fingers touched my arm sparks started entering my body. I almost forgot how they felt like. It was addicting but I also knew that all addictions are harmful for your body. Pain entered her body because of the wolfsbane and she tightly held my shirt in her hands . Her eyes closed down and she started taking long intakes of air. I tore her hands away from my shirt and stepped back to leave.

She struggled slightly to get in and looked up at me somewhat embarrassed. “Short people problems”, she laughed shyly and shrugged her shoulders The moment she got in I got hit with the most intoxicating smell. It smelled like cinnamon and sugar mixed with something floral that I couldn’t quite recognize. Ajax started pacing in my head practically salivating over this girl we didn’t even know, who wasn’t even a werewolf, but a witch! What was his deal? “So Sierra, is it? Your dad tells me you’re in your senior year! That’s exciting”, my dad said breaking me from my own thoughts.

Rex whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine. "If you are good, tonight we can have some alone time." I replied, biting his lower ear, he growled in return, "Don't make me take you back to the room." Rex said, "We both know you wouldn't do that because of our child I am currently carrying, you move at my pace." I replied, smiling sweetly at him. I knew he wouldn't argue any further, "Fine. Tonight it is then." Rex said before giving Tye his control back. "That damn stupid wolf, he wasn't too rough was he?" Tye asked worriedly. "No he was not, but I did make a promise so long as he behaves." I replied. Tye slid his hand down my face before kissing my cheek. "Come, they are waiting for

A medium-weight blanket that could survive the dryer and didn’t care about spills. On my way to the register I remembered the conversation we’d had at the diner about books and the way her eyes had lit sideways when she mentioned a mystery author. Banks once showed me how to find the public side of a wish list when a pack kid didn’t know how to ask for a birthday gift. I tried the same trick now and felt briefly like a burglar when it pulled up—H. Williams—Books—all paperbacks, nothing flashy, a handful of titles I recognized and two I didn’t. I picked three, then forced myself to stop, because generosity without brakes can feel like pressure. I paid and didn’t look at the total. Wolves coun

"Okay. Respect each book there, those books are knowledge in its raw and undiluted form." "We will." I smiled relieved he had a strong aura, "Thank you, sir." My aunt led me up the stairs to his library. His library was much bigger than I thought it would be. "I'll wait for you on this sofa. You can check for whatever you want." "Thank you, Aunt." I appreciated my aunt more than she'd ever know. "Go on Christy." I glanced through it all, the organised sections on wolves, packs, and other species. I picked up one at random, reading on the story of a werewolf–witch pair where the werewolf found his mate but she didn't understand the bond fully.

’, I thought and rolled my eyes. . “Fine.”, Dada finally agreed after a lot of persuasion from me. . . Once I reached the library, I started looking for the book having details of all kinds of creatures in the world. And thankfully, my research ended after half an hour. This is a magical book that gets updated automatically along with time, just as Wikipedia in g****e terms. I quickly read all the pages of those creatures about whom I already knew like Nephilim, Demon, Angels, Werewolves, Shapeshifters, Dragons, and Vampires.

Once in a while, they’d call to check up on him and his reports had been good. Ken had made sure Jaclyn had everything she needed, from clothing to food and books. Every day she discovered new things about herself and it sparked up curiosity in her. Her need to gain more information about who she was also became expedient. Ken, so far, has gotten almost all mystical books, which so much as mentioned fire in their write up because finding information about fire wolves was as difficult as finding water in a rock. She has read over ten books in the last two weeks and she had a few more to go. She’s kept herself busy with all of them, studying and learning new things about everything else but wh
