I took a deep breath then took a step forward but with my eyes closed. I was really scared; I did not know what to expect and I did not want to get my hopes up like I did with school only to get disappointed. I don’t think my fragile heart can take that. “Ianna open your eyes.” I took another deep breath then opened one eye first and I could not believe what I saw. Dear Goddess, what is this? I opened the second eye just to make sure I was seeing right. In the clear water, I could see a big white wolf with bright emerald eyes.

Chloe opened the book and her eyes widened. This book... She scanned the pages and then let out a huff of disbelief. Why are there empty pages?

The second the pages were open, a burst of shivers ran through my spine, my eyes widening. I gasped loudly, my fingers tightening around the book. And then, the world went black. Cold and empty black.

Mykel's pov: I opened my eyes and blinked in order to get rid of the blur sight. I found myself in my bedroom again and tightly covered up on the bed. There was someone beside me and for a moment, I presumed her to be Rissa but her hair was brownish and she seemed taller. A book was over her face. She was reading a book which had pictures of syringes at the cover. Immediately, the book dropped and a fair smooth face was staring at me. Her eyes glistened.

Kelan's POV I discovered that my mind was becoming more active than it was. Just as my routine was every time I became conscious, I tried opening my eyes. I had tried many times and it never worked but this time, my eyes slowly opened. At first the light hurt my eyes and I shut it back quickly. The joy that filled my heart knew no bounds. I couldn't believe that after months of laying there, I was able to at least open my eyes. Although my eyes didn't adjust to the light immediately, I tried it again and again before I saw what shocked me.

…… Somewhere, in the realm of the gods…. A middle-aged man with a white beard opened his eyes, which had been closed for a long time. In front of him was a white book that emitted a strong aura. The book also opened to a blank page, and something began to be written in it. A smile appeared as he saw each word in the book that suddenly began to write itself.

Confused, I opened it. Then I froze. My eyes locked onto the printed words inside.
