(Amber POV) I woke up from the cold I felt. I noticed I was lying down on something soft. The cold makes me feel numb. I opened my eyes properly. It was dazzled by the brightness of the light. My eyelids are heavy and seemed swollen. I noticed I was in an unfamiliar room. "Vaz," I called to know that it is not Vaz. That voice is familiar to me when my name was called. My eyesight is blurry. I noticed Vaz in a corner.

I wake up with a dizzy head and blurry vision, blinking rapidly to clear my view of Denzel. “What happened?” My voice sounds hoarse to myself. I look around me to realize I’m laying on my bed in my room. How am I here? Weren’t we looking for the stalker at the cafe?

He gulped. Almost immediately, his head felt numb. Afterwards, a throbbing sensation started crawling from the back of his skull towards his eyes. He grimaced as his vision turned blurry, then after blinking a few times, it started to slowly return to normal. Perhaps, more than normal, as now he could see things inside the room as if they were being shined by a full moon light. "Well that was something..." he remarked.

"Are you experiencing any difficulties?" the doctor asked. "Ehm, just that my vision gets blurry with the glasses on... Yes, like I feel I'm going blind from the glasses," I added. "Oh, sorry about that," the doctor stated. "I think I will prescribe you new glasses to help with that. And please stay off them as often as possible, so it wouldn't damage your already-made progress."

My vision starts to get blurry black dots started to appear in front of my eyes. I heared veer telling me to not close my eyes but I felt my eyes shut and darkness engulfed me..

I felt the sensation of wind being blown into my eyes, making my vision go slightly blurry. I blinked a few times to try and get my eyes to focus. I squeezed Dmitri’s hand as my sight cleared. Everything looked like it belonged in one of those cheesy dream sequences you see in soap dramas. Everything was a little too bright, and a bit hazy, like a fog had filled the room. Even the people looked the same, but different.

My vision blurred. And then—darkness.
