They were brutally murdered while it was being televised around the world. No one su

I replied to him but as soon as I spelled the name ‘Paul’, I gasped. “What happened? What is it?” Karien inquired as he saw me gasped all of sudden. I looked at him and asked, “Do you remember what was the shade of the wolf fur, and how big was he?” “He had slightly golden brown, white-colored mix fur and not so big as I saw a werewolf in movies. I don’t think he was a strong wolf but he was there attacking those two guys before I got there and he ran off as soon as he saw me” He said recollecting the memories of last night.

Each wolf, with its sleek In the heart of the sanctuary, where the winds whispered secrets and the trees whispered tales, a formidable force emerged. Led by none other than the legendary alpha wolf, Arvandus, the wolf military stood tall and proud, their presence an indomitable shield against any threat that dared to encroach upon their sacred land. Arvandus, with his piercing amber eyes that held the wisdom of countless moons, commanded his loyal pack with an unwavering authority.

The chains didn't react on its body instead the wolf only snarled. “ what the...!” Howard cussed out seeing a full-blown smirk on the wolf's face as the wind in the forest became stronger than their hold on the wolf. Decanal let out a loud bark and shook its body throwing everyone holding her at least a few feet away. Her red eyes locked on Howard's blue one and she marched forward. Howard gulped as the big wolf advanced towards him but he retained his courageous look.

“I’m ready, shoot.” I take a deep breath and get started. “OK so you know how I had to go out in the field today and ended up tagging the rogue?” She nodded. “Well it was right next to the pack and there was a wolf there who was watching the whole thing unfold apparently. I didn’t see him until after it was all done and over with, and by then he had shifted back into a human since he was only wearing basketball shorts.” “Only wearing shorts? And the verdict?”

It is listening. Behind us, branches snap. One of the werewolves, Dax, and the female mercenary, Liora, are arguing about direction. Therin’s voice joins in, smooth and mocking. Elyra glides ahead, muttering something that might be a spell. The she-wolf, Renna, keeps close to the witch’s shadow, and the older wolf, Corran, trails her protectively. The rest scatter into fog. “Just a tip,” the Herald’s voice booms from nowhere. “The forest feeds on loneliness!”

“ I'm not going to keep telling you what happened. Lena, Dad will be getting off soon. We don't have time to stop and catch you up. “ I slide down into my seat, saying sorry. I'm not even in the mood to argue at this point. Torrine rolls her eyes and says, “You didn't miss much. We saw a human turn into a wolf. The eyes changed color, and the body transformed into an animal. It looked painful. “ I'm looking at the excitement in torrines eye. She quickly presses play and shushes everyone. Now I'm thinking of the night I was in the field and how my eyes changed. I quickly ask can I see that remote? Grabbing the remote, I rewind for five minutes. Gaia screams, “Stop! You're going too far !” pre

My wolf was relentless, advancing with exposed teeth, clearly ready to bite if provoked. Percival’s wolf, much larger and more imposing than mine, lunged aggressively towards me, its jaws snapping dangerously close to my scruff. Although it was not meant to harm, the speed of its attack caught me off guard. I evaded its strike quickly, remaining vigilant as it sidestepped and snarled fiercely. It seemed determined to locate and neutralize the pregnant female. Alpha William and my father stood nearby, observing both wolves with readiness to intervene if Percival couldn’t force me to surrender.

I demand, my voice a rough whisper that echoes through the darkness. The wolf rises, his muscles rippling beneath that golden fur, and steps closer. He nudges my hand with his cold, wet nose, and I recoil, startled by the contact. His voice resonates in my mind, a deep rumble that feels ancient and powerful. “I am the wolf assigned to you by Katia.”

We’ve helped over three hundred wolves rebuild from nothing. I know what rejection does to a person. It did it to me. And I know you can survive it. Because I did. I was at my desk, sorting intake files for the week, when Lena knocked and came in without waiting for an answer—like she usually does. “There’s a wolf outside,” she said. “He’s been at the gate twenty minutes. Not aggressive, but he isn’t leaving.” I kept my eyes on the file. “Pack wolf or rogue?” “Pack,” she said. “Darkwood.”
