Wolf Dragon Hybrid Novels & Stories

"Does this mean that this Alpha is a hybrid." A heavy silence filled the room. "I cannot say for certain—" "Before you finish that thought, I have seen him shift into a wolf." The mage swallowed. "Then it is rare, brother. There is no record of a hybrid being born. Even among mixed bloodlines, one either takes the father's side or the mother's side. That is the way of things." Uthred smiled slowly. "Then we have our first hybrid." The mage's eyes gleamed. "I know a way to find out for certain."

I don’t even bother to stop him. I need his closeness. “What happens after the birth?” I whisper. “Well,” Reed strokes his thumb over my cheek in a calming motion as he thinks, “werewolf children from an Alpha usually begin showing signs of their heritage around their third birthday...” “And dragons?” I press lightly against his chest when he tries to evade my question. He sighs deeply before staring back into my eyes with a serious expression. “Dragons mature slower than werewolves,” he begins cautiously, “but if our child inherits my hydra genes...they might exhibit signs earlier...”

I reply. “I know a hybrid that is a half warlock and half vampire. He breeds a special type of fox that can take on the scent of other animals but looks like a regular fox. I will talk to him and see how many I can get and once we bring them into the pack they will smell like whoever wants to essentially claim them. They can also mind link with us as well once again whoever it is claims them.” Nikolas explains.

There’s no going back. “Alexander,” I begin, my throat dry and my voice shaky. “I... I’m a hybrid. And so are the children. We're half-wolf and half-dragon.” For a moment, he just stares at me, his eyes filled with confusion and disbelief. I could almost see his mind working, trying to make sense of what he just witnessed and what I just confessed. “I... I didn’t know,” Alexander finally says, his voice hushed and thick with emotion. “You’re a hybrid... a wolf and a dragon? How is that even possible?”

Among them, one individual stood out above the rest – Athdal, a young hybrid of vampire and werewolf blood. Athdal was a rare breed, born of a forbidden union between a vampire and a werewolf. His very existence defied the laws of nature, making him a target for both his own kind and those who sought to maintain the status quo. Yet, despite the dangers that surrounded him, Athdal had managed to carve out a life for himself in Orleana. He was the leader of a pack of hybrids, a group of individuals who, like him, bore the traits of both vampires and werewolves.

She stopped, looking up at the seven years old blonde haired boy who sat in front of her with curious eyes wanting to know more. “A Vampwolf?” He arched his brows. She hummed a positive response. “Are you sure you want to read a book like this, Dwayne?” “Yes mother. Please continue! Please continue!” He pestered. She heaved a sigh. “A Vampwolf. Half-Vampire...Half-Lycan. But stronger than both. A cross breed deadlier than any werewolf or vampire. Werewolf-Vampire hybrids are the mixture of a vampire and a werewolf. They possess the powers of both species, making them twice as powerful. And—“

Scales climbed up my arms and across my chest in jagged black patterns, glowing faintly with red heat. I shifted. Fully. A roar exploded from my throat, shaking the walls and cracking the floor beneath me. My black and white wings tore out with a violent snap with edges glowing with red flame. My snout lengthened, lined with teeth sharp enough to rip metal. My wolf’s presence fused with the dragon’s body giving my frame more power, more weight, more speed than any pure dragonling should have. My tail slammed down hard, shattering a table behind me. I stood there as a massive black hybrid creature, half-dragon, half-wolf, eyes burning bright blue.

His wolf feeds off of his dragon for energy when he's running low or needs a healing boost, and it goes both ways. I got lucky that my pack is open to hybrids. Jackson and the other hybrids that have dragons fly around the pack territory when they need to stretch their wings out. They also watch the borders at night, rogues don't think I have dragon hybrids in my pack so it's good to my advantage. There are some werewolf-witch hybrids, werewolf-vampire hybrids, and even one werewolf-fae hybrid.

Darcus glanced at Ella one more time solemnly before we moved to the patio to sit. "I'm not mocking you. I'm just curious. Hybrids are extremely rare in our Dragon realm. It's challenging to find them," Darcus said. Hybrids are a unique species. When two different species mate, their offspring usually inherit one of the parent's energy types. For instance, if a dragon and a witch have a child, the child will either be a witch or a dragon. However, the infant often doesn't survive when a hybrid is born. The power within them is too intense and uncontrollable. Only a few can successfully manage this energy.

We are almost to the waterfall when Raidon stops us. “What are we waiting for?” I asked. I can see four guys walking around the waterfall, looking at something. Tyler shifts his weight and must have nudged something with his foot because all four turn around and look at us. Those aren’t fucking vampires. They are a hybrid. They are a cross between a wolf and a vampire; only they are genetically made. Hunters have been capturing both of our species for the last few years and genetically mutating them together to produce the perfect weapon to fight both of our kinds.
