The only thing I was good at was studying and getting good grades in college. “Hey, look.” the sniper beside me tapped on my shoulder as if calling me and I frowned. He pointed something at the garden. I turned around and looked down. That’s when I saw the smoke coming out of the broken bottle of wolfsbane and it spread rapidly around the area. The wolves close to that area started to scream in pain as their furs were being burned. I was shocked. Wait…how did that happen?

He rolled his eyes and take out the cigarette that was in between his lips. "Don't worry, no one is going to be here again without my permission." He said, putting a quick spell on the door and sighed in relief. She smiled and sat in front of him, he glared at her while she gave him a satisfactory smile. "What are you playing, baby?" He asked with a glint of mischievousness as he lightened up his cigarette. "It's bad to smoke." She said, licking her lips. "I'm a werewolf, our lungs can support the nicotine, because I'm immortal." He scoffed.

They were simply officemates who find comfort in each other by sharing each other's body heat, a superior and an underling who disclose each other's burdens and frustrations through strong penetrations, tightly entwined fingers, and erotic moans. "Was I?" he asked, his nose scrunching and brows close to kissing in confusion. He looked away from her flushed face to see the cigarette that was losing a quarter of its body while hanging loosely between his right hand's fingers, continuously emanated a long, slender smoke that comforted and annoyed his burning nose at the same time. He lifted his right hand and took a puff of his cigarette, once he had enough, he blew the fume off from his lips.

As he held me upright, a realisation dawned on him, a glimmer of understanding reflected in his eyes. "It isn't just ordinary smoke, Elora... it's Wolfsbane," he uttered gravely, his voice tinged with concern.

Edward stepped through the portal and into the city of Lurds at the location where the parlour was. Just like he feared something terrible had happened, the parlour was on fire and those around were fleeing from it. The choking smoke of the flames that oozed out of the parlour travelled through the nose and burnt the lungs. The amount of wolfsbane present in the smoke was enough to kill even the strongest werewolf, if trapped in it for too long. This was an attack on the parlour and whoever was behind it had their plans thought through and executed.

The recoil of my rifle jolted through my arms as I squeezed the trigger repeatedly, sending round after round into the thick smoke that concealed our enemies. Without hesitation, we pushed forward. The air was heavy with the smell of gunpowder and burning debris. Thick clouds of smoke swirled around us, making it difficult to see more than a few feet ahead. Still, we continued advancing, our boots pounding against the ground as we followed our commanders' orders. Then, through the haze, I witnessed something horrifying. Several werewolves suddenly leaped through the smoke from another direction. Their massive bodies moved with terrifying speed as they pounced on some of our warriors.

The man just stared at me and then he went back to smoking his cigarette. "It's not allowed but who cares? No one's watching." The man responded to me in a cold tone of voice and then he blew the smoke out of his mouth. I tried my goddamn best not to smell the smoke that the man just breathe out but it's so fucking impossible being a werewolf which means I can smell anything even if it's a hundred meters away from me. "Do you smoke?" The man suddenly asked me and I just emphatically shook my head in response. "You want to try it?" The man asked me again.

Alex clenched his jaw before saying something, their battle formation changed in an instant. Alex started walking towards me with certainty and determination. He wasn't in a hurry, but his eyes were fixed on me without blinking. The wind that blew again brought black smoke with it to envelop me for a moment. When the smoke cleared Alex was still walking towards me, from both sides the wolves Jake and Vincent blocked the five werewolves who were still trying to attack them. Every time an opponent was about to lunge at Alex, Jake and Vincent bumped into them and knocked them away. They growl, grin viciously, then try to bite anyone who tries to get close. "It smelled like silver-root smoke," the second sentinel added. “I bet it was similar.” "They aren't wolves, Angie," Dad said, his voice dropping into a cold sigh, "And they aren't Lycans either. Silver-root smoke is what hunters use to 'bleach' the air. It burns the Alpha-scent out of the atmosphere so they can’t be tracked by nose." Malcolm’s grip tightened until the edge of the mahogany desk groaned under his hand. "Hunters? Wait—didn’t you just mentioning that they’re probably a werewolf too?”
