I tell them. “Good,” my father says. “Jax, inform the remaining alphas to return another day—including Alpha Caleb and Luna Marcie.” Jax nods. Moments later, three large black wolves emerge from the forest. They shift behind the trees and step forward fully dressed. We exchange bows before introductions begin. Two are mated. One is younger—newly an Alpha. We talk briefly. And we wait. “For Herk?” one of them mutters. “I’ve heard he’s not the most trustworthy Alpha.”

Another guy stood up, "I'm Ralph Bensen, a member of the beta hounds pack too. I like trekking. If you like to go trekking sometime, I'm pleased to help you." Lucian hit on Ralph's shoulder and made him sit in his place. "I'm Jacob Elrod, member of stealth Mane pack." "I'm Teo, a human." looked at the guys beside him and made a smile at me. "I'm Rudina Hart, alpha female of a howling jaws pack. Nice to meet you, Ms Hopper." Why are there so many werewolves in this class than humans? I saw the guy who helped me from the bus terminal to the school. The talkative guy? He's in this class too?

Dean’s POV continued- The cells are usually kept pretty dark. Since the wolves have better night vision it’s not a problem for them, but when we turn the bright spot lights on it sure makes it a lot worse for them too. We keep the observation area dark so the rogue can’t see everyone in the room. I decided not to tell Alec and Zander because, well, I still wanted to have a little fun. We got to the interrogation area and I held up a hand so they knew to hold back a bit, then I gave the signal for the lights. The flinching and barely audibly cursing coming from the wolves? Worth it. It took a second for them to recover and I tried my best to hide my smirk as Alec looked at me.

Another roar rumbled the Earth but this time it was not what sucked the life out of me. The men in front of my eyes had turned into monsters. Unnatural and terrifying big wolves. Not wolves... these wolves stood up like humans. "Oh, my Lord! Make it a delusion." I mumbled as my wits left me. The monster-cum-Jordan eyes fell on me when I tried to make an attempt at life. He snatched me up by the waist in his claws. "God, let it be a dream! Please!" I took a breath in to shout my heart out as my last ditch effort before death when another scream breached the cruel forest.

I could sense nothing but anger from him, strong anger and hatred for the werewolves. "These werewolves who have been living among us stealing our information and plans so they can destroy everything we have and built will be weakened and killed, every single one of them, especially the blood eyes wolf who is known as the alpha of all werewolf!"Bazaar yelled with all his might in anger. Suddenly everyone turns to the wall hearing a very loud growl. "I see he has gotten the message," I heard Bazaar laugh. My attention turned to him and I didn't know whether it was him I should fear instead of the werewolf or both. He had seemed to finally lose his mind repeatedly going against the werewolves.

I chuckled at my own forgetfulness and reached down, stroking that cat as he purred gently. Not long after, I gave Milo new food and new water and began to get ready for the movie marathon day. On this day, every wolf from all the packs came and gathered in one clearing. We all packed our way in and brought blankets to sit on. All day, the Alphas and some of the Betas and Lunas played their favorite movies on a gigantic projector screen while half of the werewolves watched and the other half made out in the woods. I always assumed I'd be watching the movie… but maybe not. I got dressed quickly into the pajamas I planned for this event - a pair of black and white striped shorts and a matching

Immediately, the shots froze in midair and fell to the ground. In unison, Elias, Xander, and the rest of the wolves leaped, changing into their wolf forms together, and started taking down the hunters. Wolves ran into the warehouse, along with some shifters in their human forms. Still invisible, Eve and I started picking off the men in the field one at a time. I flipped one over my shoulder and took away his weapon. He held up his hands and ran toward the warehouse as if a ghost were chasing him, but Eve caught him before he got far, hitting him on the back of the head with her pipe.

"And then the debt collectors will come for both of us and seize pack lands, and every wolf in Crescent Moon Pack will lose their homes because you were too selfish to accept your fate. Can you live with that?" The trap closes around me so perfectly I almost admire the cruelty. He knows I cannot let the pack suffer for his mistakes, recognizes I have spent three years protecting these wolves from his incompetence, and admits I will choose their safety over my freedom. "You are a monster," I say. "I'm a realist." He responds by straightening his jacket like we just finished a pleasant conversation. "You were never going to give me an heir anyway, too defective for that. At least this way you

“No need. Stay here with Fawna. But thank you—for your kindness, your hospitality. Thank you for it all.” I exited the room and walked up the hallway. I was prepared to go directly out the door. But Dane, with his Lupine hearing, must have heard my footsteps on the carpeted floor. I’m told that wolves in the wild under the right conditions can hear sounds at a distance of six miles. And wolves in the Arctic can detect a sound from as far as ten miles away. What a burden it must be to have such an acute sense of smell, sight, and hearing, I thought, as Dane himself stepped into the foyer and appeared in my path me before I reached the door.

Dirty's eyes were wide, he didn't say anything. "Did my wolf's fantasy shock you?" I asked, cocking my head to the side. My wolf was prancing around, thrilled at having me tell Dirty what she wanted to do. "Yes. You're bloodthirsty and your wolf is vicious. I've never heard of a female wolf being like that." "Be glad those bars are protecting you." I growled and turned to leave. I had confronted the rogues. All of them from the cabin were in custody. I think I will sleep easier knowing they are all in the jail. 'I feel better too.' my wolf said.
