I skip through the house, to her restroom while she shakes her head at me. I sense heat as she hooks up several contraptions on the counter and retrieves a glitter box of goodies. I'm nervous at first when she thrusts the heated tools towards me, but she wraps my hair in them and forms perfect soft curls that she loosens either a finger. Despite the smell of singed hair, my hair has not been hurt. This must be how they keep their hairs so groomed and arranged.
