Word Count To Page Count Novel Novels & Stories

I like making my chapters at least 3k words because I pack a lot into one chapter and I am unable to do that with a word limit of 1500-2k (to keep my chapters affordable I need to keep them between that word count). This story is dragging on because I'm trying to figure out how to keep it at a good pace while also keeping the chapters short and sweet. I'm afraid I'll either make the story too fast or as I am making it now, too slow. I am unable to find a healthy balance and this story is starting to become more of a burden than a joy like it originally is supposed to be.

I carry out my updates like this to avoid unduly stretching the book, as I plan to finish this book with just sixty to sixty-five chapters. If I update everyday, I would have to be updating an average of fourteen thousand words in a week, which is kind of a lot for me to handle as I am also busy with work and other things. I am a reader as much as I am a writer and I have read books with short chapters and understood what short chapters meant. Most times my chapter ends at 2.5k or 3k words, but because I know the coin consumption would be higher, I split the chapter into 2. I don’t like it but I have to understand and be considerate.
