Words Per Page Novel Novels & Stories

It was written in old cursive writing and archaic language, so I had a hard time going through it. But I could understand how the chapters were separated. A story only had around three to four pages that ended without a proper ending. And there were around a hundred stories written along with images. I trailed my fingers on the pages of it while trying to imagine how it might've looked when it was newly written. The pages felt like tissues, and all the ends were bent in every way.

I've wanted to keep these chapters in short bursts like I did with Nikolai and Dimitri's book, but I am finding that there's just too much happening with Umiko and Fenriz that it is impossible to keep the chapters short. The reason why I used to keep my chapters below 2k words is because the more words I write per chapter, the more you pay to unlock them.

This has been a story that has been five years in the making. This went from a five page 2000 word document that I wrote with the help of a few friends the a well over 40,000 word novel. At this point, I don't have anymore of the story written out. This is due to a career change that takes up most of my time. I hope to continue writing this story and I'm even thinking of a possible sequel, however the process will be much slower than planned.

My first book, Laws of the Pack, had an average of around 5000 words per chapter which lead me to have very frequent writer blocks since I had to constantly think of extra text or out of no where context to fill up the gaps.
