“Then why are there so many people?” “Because there is a prize for the winner.” My eyes widen. “No kidding! How much?” “It used to be fifty grand back in the day, but it upgraded to one hundred and fifty grand.” My hands round his arm tighten and I stare at him to see if he’s joking, but there is no humorous trace on his face. “No wonder there are so many people around here.” “I know. Youth can be that way with free things. I can tell you sixty per cent are not even into poetry at all.”

good story line, great characters, but needed more background and buildup of villains. also guy needed to explain all the girls better. would have been better if he had more temptation when she was 18 to 20.

The hostess’ voice was loud and clear. “Third prize winner’s orders will be free of charge. Second prize is a special service at the bar, with up to two escorts for the winner. Our grand prize includes all the above and a gift pack worth 4999 dollars.” “What is the special prize, then?” Someone asked eagerly. Tanya was also curious about it.

Unraveled Destinies

Unraveled Destinies

“Please stay away from me, Jaxson, so I won't have to get a restraining order. “Calm down, Jane; it is not that serious. “Well, I am serious. I walked away and headed back to the event. I was about to take my seat when I heard my name. I was confused. “And the best-dressed female goes to Miss Jane the Artist. Everyone cheered and looked in my direction. I was so confused that I walked up and saw that I had a cash prize of fifty thousand dollars. I was supposed to give a speech but I was dumbfounded. I have never given an official speech before, except for office presentations. But I decided to do it anyway since I had no choice.

"It's true. Also, there are not only prizes for the top three but a commemorative award just by participating." "Woah, awesome!" Everyone knew that when it came to rewards and prizes, the Royal Creek Institute was extraordinary! Even their scholarships were far greater than most schools! So even a commemorative award would be some expensive luxury item! How could they miss out on that?

Also, it took WAY TOO LONG to get to the Olympiad and the exam. Like really?!?! Also, no one can be that perfect. Every time you turn around, she is a master of this and that at the tender age of 18. Like, come on! Do better!

I’m only 26% thru this book, and I’m HOOKED!!! There’s a FEW slow places in it, but overall, it has kept me interested so much, that I read every chance I get, and can’t wait to get further into it!!! Definitely worth the time, IMO.

The Mech

The Mech

"It's conveniently open to mech designers who have just graduated or are in their final years in college. I guess the Republic wants to make sure it hasn't missed any talents." "You should check out the rewards." Ves did, and widened his eyes. 1st Prize - Gold Cup, 1 million bright credits 2nd Prize - Silver Cup, 500,000 bright credits 3rd Prize - Bronze Cup, 200,000 bright credits If he won first prize, then even if he couldn't meet the interest payment, he could at least afford other necessities. The raw materials to build up a mech didn't come cheap. "These aren't even the real rewards, Ves. If you stand out during the competition, you might be able to get an audience with the real movers

Accidental Claim

Accidental Claim

Kevin said, and I couldn't wait for the day to come. "The games will start in three days; I set the winning price at fifty thousand Crons for the first place, thirty thousand Crons for second place, fifteen thousand crons for third place and five thousand crons for fourth to fourteenth place," Kevin stated. Jasper approved. The prize money was coming from his pockets, and it was something he could afford without flinching. There was a time we were very broke. It all seemed like a distant memory now. The unbelievable part was that those were our happiest moments when we didn't have a care in the world. Now there was just too much to deal with and fix. The time together was limited.

The Billionaire’s Hidden Vow

The Billionaire’s Hidden Vow

Subject: URGENT – PRIVATE PROJECT The email was short and straight to the point. We have reviewed your work. A client would like you to ghostwrite his story. Payment: $50,000 upon completion. Amara blinked. Once. Then again. Her eyes remained fixed on the screen as if the words might suddenly rearrange themselves into something more reasonable. But they didn’t. Fifty thousand dollars? Her heart began to pound, slow at first, then faster, louder—until she could feel it in her chest, in her throat, even in her fingertips resting on the edge of her laptop.

In addition, there were ten outstanding awards, with each person receiving fifty thousand in prize money. You should know that this is a pharmaceutical company, not some entertainment business. This is something that truly benefits the people. Forget about Amber City, you won't find a competition like this anywhere in the country. It was simply a blessing for medical practitioners. As soon as this news came out, there was a wave of excitement and enthusiasm in the school. When they were leaving school, Leila was still talking to Lorraine about this. Because almost all the students in the school were talking about this hot topic.

MY WAY TO THE BILLIONAIRE'S HEART

MY WAY TO THE BILLIONAIRE'S HEART

“But i will think about it.” That night, when the market had finally closed, and the fairy lights were off, Maeve sat on her crooked bed. Her legs folded and her laptop on her laps The Langston Challenge site glared back at her. A video pitch, a cooking demo, and ugh a statement about “why you’re the perfect partner for Carter Langston.” She almost threw up reading that line. But the fine print mentioned fifty grand for the top five finalists. Fifty grand could cover Mom’s meds. Was enough to keep Tommy in school. Might even help Rita fix that busted grill.
