This Rogues were living not to far off from Crimson Pack. This pack of Rogues were actually living peacefully, but— their pack was raided suddenly, killing every single member of the Pack." I turned my face to Xavier, "Except for one of course, Leo Benjamin, who was then rescued by Blackwood. And he gave him a new identity, Xavier Cross."

Liam growled. “Your guess is as good as mine,” he called back, his gun rattling off shots like a firecracker. “It was us against the usual suspects until the humans appeared out of nowhere and opened the prison gates.” Fed up with the constant stream of non-answers, Xavier called Alexandre to attention and shifted until a Wolfman stood in his place. He broke rank and plunged into the fray, closing a large, clawed fist around the first vigilante throat he found. The human man’s eyes bugged wide as Xavier hauled him up by the neck and jumped, launching them both into a tree branch overhead.

She tried to run towards me but another held her down. She screamed as one of them lunged for me, then stopped mid-air, slammed backward by something invisible. Gunfire. Two sharp shots. Then silence. Within seconds, three of Xavier’s men appeared, black-clad and efficient. The rogues were on the ground before they could shift. “Luna,” one of them said, bowing slightly, “are you hurt?” I blinked, breathing hard. “You… who sent you?” The man didn’t hesitate. “Alpha’s orders. We were told to keep watch until you were safely inside. We apologize for not making ourselves known sooner, however, we did not expect things to escalate this way.”

I was still thinking about those two — John and Arthur — and what they’d said. Evil like us. Help kill the pack. Me? Team up with rogue werewolves and bloodsucker rejects? I scoffed under my breath and started pacing the living room. James watched me for a second, then propped himself up on his elbows. "Alright, Xavier. Spill it. What's that look for? You’ve got your 'murderous inner monologue' face on." I stopped pacing. "They're planning something big," I said simply. "They’re not just causing trouble for that pack. They're gearing up for a full assault."

He kissed her forehead affectionately and pulled her out of the room. They both had to stop the ongoing war before it would come to escalate to the other packs because then it would be hard to curb. The both of them stepped out and we're shocked, the scene had gotten more bloody. "These... these are not my people, they are not the members of the coven..." "They are wolf Hunter's!" Xavier announces and they both looked at each other for a moment. Adriana said some spells and Xavier's arms were healed. "Wow, it's so nice to have a witch as a wife" he said and Adriana gave him a small smile.
