King John sat down beside his son and pulled Xavier's head on his lap. "What happened?" King John asked Cole, then he turned towards the doctor who was examining Xavier. "I think he's force shifting" Docter replied bowing his head. Werewolf didn't shift before their eighteen birthday. But in some rare case, werewolf spirit would force their part to shift before the time. It happened normally when one's wolf spirit was triggered by anger or sadness. In Xavier case, it was the anger directed towards Killian and what he did to Luna that made him force shift.

He always motivated her and saw the potential in her, he had been like the father she wished to have. Even with his warning growls, the rogues had advanced on us. “Ana, you need to shift!” Xavier yelled over his shoulder as he fought two rogues off. I was paralyzed with fear. I could see the question in his eyes. Why wasn’t I shifting? Xavier’s confusion created enough of a distraction that he wasn’t able to react in time as a rogue tore into his side. Xavier roared in pain. I heard patrol members running to aid us. One of the rogues tore into my side, causing my vision to blur. , “I’m so sorry.” I whispered. Before I knew it my vision went black and I had woken up with a pit in my stomach.

Right now I had a board meeting to win and a woman to convince that Morana Mortaine had actually come back to save her company instead of just reclaim it.
