I froze when his hand brushed mine, warm and certain, taking the bracelet gently. Xavier turned my wrist slightly, his thumb tracing the delicate skin there before he fastened the clasp with a soft click.
“All done,” he said quietly, his breath brushing the side of my neck.
“Thank you,” I murmured, not trusting my voice to hold steady.
“You’re welcome.” He said as I extended my hand to the jewelry box, wanting to pull my earring.
