Xander looked at me after the car stopped due to the red light signal. "Well.... I know this is unrelated to what is going on and it is probably not the best question at this very moment but I never actually got to ask you what you do for a living, I mean almost every body know you here..." Xander cut me short and saved me the trouble of beating around the bush. "I am an interior designer, not something my family members appreciate but it is something I love doing and I currently handle one of Damon's inherited firms only that now it's a bit shaky now that Damon reputation is being dragged in the mud" Xander said while focused on his driving.

The voice seemed familiar, but I could not place it. “Speaking.” “Leah, it’s Jack. Jack Carter.” “Jack,” I paused for a second, “How are you?” “Always so pleasant. I need to ask you a favour as I know Logan will not ask you.” “Of course.” “I and my wife Chelsea, Logan’s mum, are having a family get together next weekend for his birthday.” “His birthday?” I questioned. “Logan didn’t tell you?” “No!” I was surprised but also not somehow at the same time.

I just smiled at him sadly because I feel so tired right now that I can't even move my lips. "It's time, they're all gone," Kendrick said in a voice full of hope. Maybe if there's anything good had happened to me in this place for almost a year, it's probably meeting Kendrick. He's kind and caring to me, that I can't help but wonder if he's Benjie's legitimate son. Kendrick always gives me water and food secretly, he also helps me escape this place but all of our plans didn't work out. Sometimes I can't help but feel sorry for Kendrick, he's only fourteen and he was surrounded by barbaric murderers, though they like to call themselves werewolf hunters.

She looked completely beyond pissed. "I'm talking to you!" She snapped. "Sorry, Luna." Sandra mumbled. Mom waved her hand dismissively and left the room. "God, how do you and your brother deal with her?" Sandra hissed. I just shrugged my shoulders. There was a rapid knock on the door and it swung open. "Helena, your brother has told me to send you a message." One of the pack members whispered. "Yes, what is it?" I asked, standing up from the chair.

I yelled holding my stomach. Just like Xavier decided to listen to me he stopped, his mischievous face stared at my red face as he looked at his face in the mirror and arranged his hair. He flashed his killer smile then nodded in satisfaction. "Have the worst day, Candy" He said with a smirk on his face. Xavier threw his bag pack over his left shoulder as he jumped down from the truck and walked over to my side to open the door for me. His signature smirk was still on his face as helped me down then brought out his phone from his pocket.

Probably some guy gave her a fake number in the bar. "I know what it is. But who are you?" She again asks me anxiously. "I am secretary of the President of the Damison Group. My name is Ethan Stone." I reply to her irritatingly, as she is wasting my time. I need to go home and take a lavender bath with my rubber ducks.

“I…i….” “Stop it!” Xander bickered. “Despite your intention to sabotage their hard work, they still managed to get the best out of it. Where exactly is your conscience? Do I need to clip your wings? Are you feeling too powerful now that you do not mind making other people's jobs hard for them?”

Is there dirt on my face or am I just too pretty charr! But they are really weird. I was shocked when someone came up behind me. "What will give--" I gasped to see Xander behind me, on his knees. He held my hand. "I'm Xander Ferrer, I'm not a perfect man and I know I'm not going to be a perfect husband but I'll try my best to be a good husband for you, I'll be good in bed too. " I laughed at the last thing he said.

He stands to his feet and lets his gaze travel from one end of the table to the other. “I am Alpha Shane of the Dark Moon pack. I went back to where I was brought into the world and took back what was mine. I am the only legitimate heir and it is my birthright to be Alpha of my father’s pack. I’ve broken no laws, I challenged him, and won,” he said.
