Still embraced her when everyone else pulled away. Am I worthy? That morning, the city air was still heavy with the smell of smoke. A thin haze still drifted from the upper floors of the Wrenford building. The streets around the building were lined with yellow police tape, fire trucks, and uniformed officers moving back and forth. Xavier stepped out of his black car with firm strides. His black suit gave him authority, even though his face still showed fatigue from a sleepless night. People immediately bowed their heads, clearing a path.

' Theo thought. "He was born Saturday evening!" Theo said, wondering if he should check Xavier's temperature. Maybe he's not feeling well and that's why he can't remember. "Hmmm." Xavier hummed as he lightly caressed Theo's cheek some more. His strong dominant face was somehow so soft as he looked at his little Omega, who looked at him with big wide green eyes, curiously. "So you went into heat Friday morning, and your heat ended Saturday evening," Xavier said, watching Theo's reaction carefully.

They were all dressed casually today, looking like it was the fucking weekend. Fridays shouldn’t be considered weekends…but then again, they made it clear that they weren’t company employees. So were they like…Xavier’s bodyguards? Matteo had his hands crossed over his chest while Tobey leaned on one of the empty sofas, brows pulled together in a frown. On the sofa was Xavier, Halle could tell from the back of his shaved head. She could see how tensed his shoulders were. They were discussing something important, Halle could hear Xavier’s deep voice low, it sounded almost weak but she could hear and feel the authority in his tone even from where she stood.

Godvric sounded rather hoarse as he spoke to his boss which only means he was probably resting. "I need you to check something for me." He said Godvric quickly sat properly and held onto the phone properly.. "Okay boss." Godvric spoke after listening to what his boss wanted him to do... "That would be all." Xavier said and hung up and gulped down whiskey straight from the bottle.. His face scrunched up in a frown as he gulped down half of the whiskey.. ****** The next few days Kendall woke up as usual with Xavier. She placed her hand on his space and heaved a sigh before getting outta bed..

Knowing he was right, Xavier picked up. “Heey, wifey.” He tried the cheerful approach. “Have you spoken to Theo?” She went straight to the point. Xavier was tongue-tied for a second. He was a poor liar. “Not since noon.” He said truthfully. “I assume he is busy.” He added quickly.

Xavier I lay on the hospital bed, my mind still reeling from the events of the past few days. Suddenly, my phone buzzed, breaking the silence. I checked the screen and saw that it was Thompson calling. I let out a sigh and answered. "Hello?" I said, trying to sound more alert than I felt. "Sir, I have some information," he said on the other end of the line. I glanced at the time, wondering what could be so urgent. "What is it, Thompson?"

Hurting him would make his kids mad at him, he wasn't ready to make them mad at him all over again. Xavier nodded a little and looked around, he turned and decided to leave without saying anything. “It's on a Tuesday. The date is the 24th.” Dexter said and he paused. Xavier turned to him and he rolled his eyes. “Thank you, thank you so much.” He said with relief all over his face, he walked to Dexter and was about to hug him but Dexter shot him a glare. He chuckled and patted his shoulder before walking out of the warehouse. Xavier smiled to himself as he got into his car, as he drove, he started to think about how he would make the day perfect for his kids.

However, this time he did not have Alexia with him. "Miss Carissa, I owe my success to you. I am truly grateful," Xavier expressed, raising a glass of wine before him. With a drink in hand, he felt at liberty to speak openly. "Mr. Xavier, I look forward to a fruitful collaboration with you. However, we must express our gratitude to Mr. Wade even more. He has been a steadfast supporter of you, and I am thankful to him for providing me with the opportunity to continue investing in Thompson Inc.," Carissa said as she stood up, raising her glass to Mr. Wade with a smile that exuded charm, causing him to appear somewhat smitten.

How had I ever believed he might love me? "But I never promised you the firm, Xavier," Mr. Thompson said, his voice steady despite his shock. "I never told you that you would inherit it." Xavier’s fury intensified. "Then who else deserves it, if not me? Do you think Grayson’s wife, Dixie, is more capable than me? Or that Grayson himself has more potential? Or maybe you think Victor, who’s too busy with his guitar to even care about the law, is the right choice?"

But if i said it the guys working wih zeeshan would also know and they would know she is my wife now ,may be it provide her some safety . "mr xavier are you alright do you need any checkup " the doctor said taking him out of his thoughts . "ha ...no i am alright but ....my wife larib thomson. is admitted here ." and the mintue this sentence was out of his mouth everyone was stunt and started whispering . "sir your .....wife ?" the doctor said astonished . "why is it hard for you to accpet that at last mr xavier got married " a voice came from behind the doctor.
