As if to add insult to injury, a message popped up saying, "Due to system maintenance, you cannot change your avatar for the next few days." The group chat erupted in confusion.

And I don't share. --- A/n Oooohhh burnnnn 😏 Let's see what happens next. Remember to vote 😙🖤

Feeling that my mom and Mike might find that a bit unusual, I went back to my bed and continued rolling all over like a little girl. I sat upright when I heard the door open, Mike's head poked in with a look that screamed confusion. “What's happening babe? You mom and I heard you laughing, did something good happen?” He came into the room, looking around like it was his first time inside there. “I just saw a funny meme online, it's nothing serious.” The smile I was trying hard to hide, did not waste anytime in hiding itself once Mike's entire body frame was in sight. He sat down on the bed and out of reflex, I shifted away from him slightly. “Can I see it too?”

Ben laughed “We will announce at the Christmas party. What do you think?” “Brilliant.” Paul slapped the desk “I have to get a seat next to VC.” “Me too… I have to get a video for making my very own meme for being slapped in the face…. Ha…ha…ha…” Richard laughed happily. “It might not have that effect, probably everyone will know by then.” Ben shrugged.

#getbehindmesatan Another text popped up. Alec: Today my daughter was constipated, I showed her your picture, she shit all over it. Thanks man... Yeah, message received loud and clear, I was just about to chuck my phone against the wall when another message popped up. Jay: We actually put you in a group messenger now so that we can all join in your shame, I added the girls, you're welcome. So, gang, let's talk this through. What exactly did Will do wrong today? Alyssa: Raises hand

"Clara, I'm hungry. Where's my chicken soup? Oh, right. Jason said he's too disappointed in you and doesn't want to talk to you anymore. He told me to speak to you directly if I need anything." I clenched my fists and forced the words out through my teeth. "I'm never going back." She let out two soft laughs, full of disdain. "Where else can you go if you don't come back here? Everyone says you'll cling to Jason's family for the rest of your life, even if you have to become the family pet. Otherwise, you'll starve to death."

People started cheering and I looked at them, shaking my head, "No no, Naza is on a break-" "-Yes he is." The whole class was quiet and the once irritated teacher was happy to see the idiot behind me. At once, his fangirls started squealing at the news and definitely, his presence. "Please! Mr. Ahmed and Daniels! Go and sit at the back over there," She tapped her feet impatiently and I nodded, shuffling to the seat she told us to be. I didn't want to look at his face, and he didn't seem bothered. He just sat down beside me, and his jaw seemed to be turned in the direction of the teacher. My heart was slamming for no reason.

#BlackwoodMeltdown was number five. The videos were everywhere. Dozens of angles of my screaming, my collapse, my desperate pleas to be left alone. And the comments... God, the comments were vicious. "She's literally insane lol" "Someone needs to get this girl some serious help" "When you're so desperate for attention you fake a breakdown " "Maya Blackwood is the poster child for what happens when you give damaged girls too much attention" The memes had already started. Screenshots of my face mid-scream with captions like "When you realize you have to take responsibility for your actions" and "POV: You're not the main character anymore."

We imagine more open workshops, new materials, partnerships, names, colors. We want to keep the soul. But give it a breath of fresh air. We return late. Hands dirty. Ideas full. Hearts racing. In the kitchen, we prepare toast. We eat standing, leaning against the counter, barefoot on the tiles. And we don’t talk much. The silence says enough. Then, without consulting each other, we go sit by the bay window. The armchair is still there. A legacy frozen in the evening. Lucas hands me a cup of herbal tea and sits beside me.

Kelechi couldn't even land a single punch or kick on her, just the slap from him to her that started the fight. It was a popular meme for students in my school on social media, that session. One of the memes had a picture of Tobi's hand exactly at Kelechi's jaw with the caption, "Kelechized" and below the picture was written, "Total Tobility". Another had the same picture with a different caption, "When you pre-order an iPhone in an Online
