He smirked and winked at his friends as the youngsters made their way over. "Gramps, what's that on your plate?" Kyle pointed at the offensive leftover pie. Clancy rolled his eyes and held his hand out towards the other occupants at the table. "Never mind that come on and meet my friends. You already met Gus and Arty, but this here is Theo, Deke, and Charlie. Boys, this is my grandson Kyle, and you all know Kerryanne."

"You can meet my other brother who I think may be easier to get to know compared to Braxton." Tiffany looked a little hesitant but followed me inside my house anyways. Almost instantly, my youngest brother ran to me and hugged me. "Hey kiddo," I smiled. "This is my friend, Tiffany." Tiffany bent down so she was at his height and stuck out her hand with a small smile playing on her lips, "Hi there." Colton looked at her with a toothy grin and ignored her hand as he gave her a big hug causing her to laugh as she almost fell over. "Hi, I am Colton. I'm nine years old and I'm really good at reading - oh and math."

His phone vibrated in the cup holder that he had previously placed it in, he picked it up, the screen light up and he stared at it, judging by him not placing it to his ear immediately, I knew it was a message. He turned to me, "Looks like big brother Logan is gonna take you and Chris to your first college party." he smiled pervertedly. Chris's POV A thundering knock came at my front door while I was in the living room, I paused my movie and walked to the door and took a peek through the peekhole. Cole was the first person I saw, arms crossed and a frustrated expression on his face, standing next to him though, was a stupidly smiling Logan. "What do want?" I asked through the door.

Beckham interjected, raising his glass and winking at Elijah. “I need to go to college, brother.” Colby smirked. “I see. Don't forget you're over four hundred years old.” Elijah prattled. “I was nineteen years old when I turned. At least that's what my face says,” Colby insisted. “I'm going to college and I'm going to become a medical doctor.” Elijah couldn't hold it, he burst out in laughter. How on earth could a vampire become a medical doctor? It was close to impossible. Colby's eyes widened.

Modern furniture in the shade of crimson stood in the center. I didn’t have time to explore any other differences and I continued my journey down the hallway. When I saw the name plaque that said, ‘Alpha Remy Marcel Boudreaux,’ I didn’t even bother knocking. I stood in front of it for a moment, took a deep breath, and tried to figure out what I was going to say to him. After all, I was angry. His parents had murdered mine. For what? I didn’t even know. I wanted answers.

He watched them leave, unease flickering across his face. "Don’t worry, I think I can boast about him now. He seems devoted," Colby muttered, causing Troy to glance at him. "You said you didn’t like him. Are you finally giving him a chance?" Troy asked, curious. "I didn’t say I was giving him a chance," Colby replied, his tone evasive. The rest of the boys burst into laughter. ****** When they reached the rooftop, Eric crossed his arms, staring at Jarvis. "Why did you bring me here?"

Riley said that blatantly. Hearing this clear and curious explanation, Brockley could only nod several times. On another occasion, Brockley, who had turned twelve years old, then asked for something. “Tell me about the old wars!” Like a history teacher, Riley opened one of the old books that recounted the wars of the BC era. He told about the brave commander who led the war troops. Brockley stood up with a fist clenched. “I will be a warlord too!” he cried in a very loud voice.

The door slid open, and Colby took an immediate step back as Cobra stood in the doorway, towering over him as he normally did, with the biggest knife the younger male had ever seen in his life. Words seemed to fail him and all he could manage to do was a slight wave. Pathetic, he thought as Cobra nodded at him and then turned his back retreating into the living room. Colby figured that was his queue to follow. He looked around, but didn't see Jay anywhere, and when Cobra gestured, knife still in hand, for him to take a seat, he was all too happy to comply.
