Claiming The Alpha

Claiming The Alpha

Mary was still munching on her strawberry, unaware of the bomb that was about to detonate because of her. “Do you have anything in particular that you would like to eat?” I asked the Alpha. “Mary especially loves the strawberries. She could also taste-test the rest of the meals for us.” “Mooma,” Mary said, pointing to the tall stacks of pancakes. I glanced down at her teacher. “Does she eat pancakes?” Someone cleared their throat behind the Alpha. I looked over his shoulder. Leo was gesturing to the Alpha and then to the table. Oh. I smiled at Alpha Kaden. “Come sit,” I said softly, leading him to the table.

No Escape!

No Escape!

"We've seen them too the things in the distance. Watching." Mary shuddered. "Demons, angels, I don't care what they are if they're walking here, we're already in Hell." No one argued and after dinner I helped Mary wash out a few canteens using filtered rainwater. She hummed quietly under her breath an old song, I thought, something about mercy and light. I believe I've heard it before but I couldn't remember where. "You've got fight in you," she said suddenly. I looked up. "What makes you say that?"

So This is Love

So This is Love

“That’s not strength, that’s disrespectfully fine.” Mary twisted again. “¡BÁJAME AHORA MISMO! ¡NO SOY UN SACO DE PAPAS!” Liam finally spoke, calm as ever. “You know,” he said, adjusting his grip slightly, “you look really hot when you’re speaking Spanish.” Mary froze for half a second — just half. Then: “¡NO TE ATREVAS A COQUETEAR CONMIGO AHORA!” Jay followed calmly, shaking his head. “She’s got spirit.”

Maeve: The Rise Of The Gamma

Maeve: The Rise Of The Gamma

She smiled widely, her blue eyes drinking me in. "Honestly, Mae, you look fantastic; I could literally eat you up,” she teased, smirking at me. I chuckled, covering my mouth. Well, Mary is bi, and she always teases me about how fat my ass is and how she wants a taste of it, but I know she is just joking. Her phone pinged, and she looked at it, grinning.

Reign of the Uncontrollable Wife

Reign of the Uncontrollable Wife

Sophia snorted, "She probably hasn't played all her cards yet. Your post last night had a significant impact. Be careful." Hamish's expression darkened, and a cold smile played at the corner of his lips. … Hamish arrived at the private room of the West Coast Restaurant at six o'clock sharp. Mary was already there, sitting gracefully in a white dress, with her gentle and fragile appearance. She was completely different from the fierce Mary at Black Den’s recruitment. Of course, if they did not have the same face, he would have doubted they were the same person. Upon seeing him, Mary hurriedly stood up. "Hamish, you're here?"

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

Mary let out a scream, collapsing against the wall. Startled, Zuko wanted to go and help her, but she kept avoiding him, trembling in fear. "I-I'm sorry!" she stuttered, apologizing, "I didn't mean to! I promise I won't say it again, never again!" Zuko furrowed his brows, sensing that Mary knew something more. He slowly crouched down, his gaze turning icy, and spoke each word deliberately. "Mrs. Nash, are you hiding something from me?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

The Merman, My Man

The Merman, My Man

Instead, I was witnessing this as if possessed, having inadvertently opened a dust-laden diary that recorded a hidden past. “Sorry…” I suddenly heard Mary cry, her crystalline tears reflecting the flames even as it rolled off her cheeks. Despite her body trembling in fear, she maintained her traditional Japanese etiquette, prostrating herself in dogeza at the merman with the dark purple fishtail even as she sobbed, “I would never blaspheme against you, deity of the great sea! I beg you, spare the others, and pretend that I’ve never met you…” “Mary… Mary…”

I don't think I was prepared for what I clicked on, but the concept and execution of the the story, white possibly triggering for some, the story actually has great promise! I want to know more about what the old lady said in the dream as well as what happens to Linda.

Marina

Marina

I waved my hand in dismissal. “What about that girl over there? I saw you talking to her before. And I saw her at a party with Mike the other night. You know…before he was…murdered,” Jaimie said in a hushed tone. I looked in the direction he was looking and saw Marina. She was alone this time. “I don’t think so, man. She would never agree to it,” I said. She already hated me. This would just put a cherry on top. “Try for me. How about this, if you can convince her, I can help you take some pretty interesting pictures,” Jaimie said and smiled mysteriously.

-I do not understand what it says, I checked the staff papers before arriving and there is nothing out of what you asked- -So what have I got before me?- He noticed the petite, slim woman with crystalline golden eyes and an ordinary face framed in short, shiny dark hair. Leo studied the woman for a few seconds and found nothing strange. He recognized it, remembering the image in his file. Silver Miller, Head of Design Department, 23, Beta. Just in case he checked her neck and found nothing but a thin, unadorned gold chain. Not even the characteristic protective necklace of omegas and even less the trace of a supposed brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mary Saotome and Yumeko Jabami are characters from the series 'Kakegurui', which has inspired quite a bit of fanfiction. Finding popular stories for this ship, often called 'JabamixSaotome', is about knowing where to look and how to filter. The biggest hub for English-language fanworks is Archive of Our Own (AO3). Using the character filters for both Mary and Yumeko is your best start, but popularity sorting can be tricky; sometimes newer, well-written fics get buried, so sorting by kudos might not always reflect current buzz. I'd also check Tumblr tags like #jabamixsaotome or #kakegurui fanfiction, where creators often promote their work. The fandom isn't as huge as some, so dedicated fans tend to reblog the gems, making Tumblr a good curator.

Another spot is Fanfiction.net, though the tagging system is less robust. You'll have to search under the 'Kakegurui' category and then sift through summaries. Don't overlook the option to sort by reviews on FF.net, as that can surface older but highly regarded fics. Wattpad can be hit or miss with quality, but some real passion projects live there if you're patient with the search. Sometimes the most popular stories aren't on a single platform; a fic might be discussed heavily on a Discord server for the ship. Finding those communities via Twitter/X or Reddit's r/Kakegurui can lead you to links and recommendations you wouldn't find through a simple site search.
