Its eyes hung on its cheeks as it lunged straight at me. "Clarissa!" Hans yelled, immediately raising his gun and aiming at the zombie in front of me. The next second, he was immediately drawn to Winnie's scream. "Hans! I'm scared!" He hesitated for a second before immediately turning his gun toward the zombies near Winnie. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach.

Behind the barricade, they could see Erickson, Joseph, and a few soldiers fighting desperately to hold their ground. “We need to clear a path,” Luke said, gripping his weapon tightly. The soldiers nodded, fanning out and opening fire. The sharp crack of gunfire echoed through the air as the first wave of zombies fell, their bodies collapsing in grotesque heaps. Luke and Bayo charged forward, their enhanced abilities turning them into a whirlwind of destruction. Luke’s fists slammed into zombie after zombie, his strength shattering bones and crushing skulls. Bayo moved with precision, his machete slicing through the air in deadly arcs.

Brett yelled as he fired his gun in a sweeping motion.

Mel and Xiao shoot at the few zombies approaching through the window, while Eddy and I aimed for the ones trying to break down the door.
