So Zade decided to take the hard way out. “Naomi, I apologise if I gave you the idea that I needed anything from you, and I definitely do not need what you have just mentioned.” Zade began, his voice low but calm, “I'm a sought after person, mostly between the ladies and even a few men, I don't need a woman like you to pleasure me, that is, I have no interest in your body nor any intention to take your heart and definitely not your life. I am a doctor, I can't take your life away from you.”

I whispered, bringing my hands to my lips. She looked like a shy little thing because the next moment she was standing behind Zade and hiding her cute little face from me. Zade smiled at me before turning to her, "She's shy because she has not seen someone as pretty as you before even at the verge of marriage," Zade was also an open flirt that didn't care if the person he was flirting with was a married woman or even an elderly woman. If that person was a human, he would flirt away. I rolled my eyes so hard at his statement, "Hopefully I won't be on that verge very long."

" A male, dressed in a grey and purple uniform like the other workers, moving helter-skelter around the porch of the mansion, calls before Zade can utter another word from his mouth. I say and he grabs his little dinosaur teddy and snuggles it. "Mama says you are my zia" "What does Zia mean?" I question, I really need to learn Italian. Zade leaned on the railings of the balcony as he twirled the glass of Barolo in his hands. A grim look settled on his handsome face, and his gray eyes remained expressionless, almost lifeless. He had done something he had never done in his entire existence: he spared a life. Zade scoffed. He was the type to immediately get rid of whoever caused trouble; why his instincts led him to spare the little girl was still a mystery to him. He had known all along that she was a girl, but he had watched her lie and cover up everything for his own personal entertainment.

“Did you remember him too?” “Of course, I do. His name is Lord Karl. He is my mate's Beta.” He didn't say anything. He just exhaled slowly. “Please, Lenora, you have to remember me. My name is Zade. I am your mate.” His voice was tinged with desperation as he stared at me. “Can you stop pestering me please?
