Zane Chan Novels & Stories

I say remembering her chase us around trying to play with Harper and me. She was always so quiet and cute, the opposite to Zane. They all have blonde hair with a few natural lowlights of brown, and have fair skin, now that I think about it Zane actually looks a lot like Liam Hemsworth just more jacked and the girls look like Amanda Seyfried with green eyes. “People grow up.” Zane says biting into his big mac. I pop a chip in my mouth, “Not everyone does.” I say giving him a pointed look.

“No, Connie and Hannah are team one. You are team two.” “Right,” she said. “I forgot.” “Forgot or weren’t listening,” he muttered aloud. Usually, he found her forgetfulness cute, but tonight he found it annoying and distracting. “Here he comes,” Elliott warned them. Through Elliott’s IAC, Aaron could see the dark figure of an older man, hunched over, with crazy black hair, slithering towards the chimpanzee cage. He weaved in and out of the shadows and seemed to do a dance step now and again.

After giving her a brief nod, Zane walked out of the office, and when the door shut close behind him, she slumped down into the couch and shut her eyes. ******* Slowly drumming his fingers against the wheel, Kwan kept staring at the entrance of the Blueprint Tech building. Then his heart jumped at the sound of his ringtone, and he looked down at the screen, frowning hard at it. When he picked up the phone and answered, Mr. Wu's voice roared in his ear, “Have you found Zane or that traitor yet?!”

He says eventually, noises behind him reveal the blonde girl that Flame was arguing with earlier. “Oh please be Darius’ friend.” She grins, pushing the boy out of the way and extending her hand. “I’m Gale. Gale Winters.” “Cain Harden.” I shake her hand quickly before dropping it and turning to the boy again, attempting to be pleasant when I just want him to get the fuck out of my way. “Darius told me we were going Tree Surfing.”

Revanchi chimed. I pressed my lips together and offered him an awkward smile. Then Mr. Revanchi moved to the next person. “And this person is Zane. I don't know if you've ever come across him. He's quite famous and—” “I haven't, except from the first day you introduced him in the living room.” I cut him off sharply, earning strange glances from everyone. “Are you sure you haven't met me before that, Celeste?” Zane's voice interrupted.

"Mom, Dad, why aren't you cooking?" Kate sat in her wheelchair, shivering from the freezing cold. "I'm too cold, Charles! Let Iris cook instead!" Arthur rolled his eyes at Iris, not having any more patience. "Don't you see that we're both about to freeze to death? When Jennie was around, she was the one who cooked. We never had to move a finger! Do you want to get married to Charles or not?"

“Hello, Natalie Blue Watson,” Zane said calmly. “What do you want?” Natalie snapped, shocked that her new boss was standing outside her door. Zane was about 6 feet tall with very handsome features. He had brown eyes and black hair which was cut shorter in the sides and left the middle longer. His smile was his weapon and every woman fell for it. Well, every woman except Natalie, who only saw a rich brat in him. “Won’t you ask me to come in?”

“Now we’re setting up near the swan boats.” “Oh. You’re with them. That’s great. I really need to find Charlie or Pete Eilert.” “Of course,” he said, realizing why she seemed familiar. “You must be Rebecca. I see the family resemblance. I’m Zane Alexander, by the way. It’s very nice to meet you.” This appeared to fluster her. Her cheeks flushed up an adorable pink, a color that went well with her luscious mouth. Her upper lip was shorter than her lower, creating an effect that was both succulent and girlish. Added to the big eyes and

“If you have enough time for idle gossip in the middle of the day, I’m sure Mrs. McDonald would welcome your help peeling potatoes in the kitchens.” The smaller man who was sparring gives an exaggerated shudder. His accent is so thick I can only pick up the words “kill” and “dragon”, but there are a few titters in the crowd and Ethan grins. I get the impression that whoever Mrs. McDonald is, she’s not very popular.

I didn’t agree to that, but would it be that bad? Not for nothing, but Zane is sexy as hell. He’s mysterious and definitely dangerous. I can sense he’s powerful. Zane’s aura is more potent than an alpha’s aura. He demands respect and loyalty. He’s not a man to mess with. His job is to collect the souls of the dead and deliver them to Death. Yeah, he’s not an enemy I want to have. In a way, I’m intimidated by him, and he doesn’t even own my soul yet. Combined with his handsome good looks and fit body, I bet he knows exactly what to do with a woman.
