Enni's POV My heart pounded like a drum as I picked up the call from the mysterious lady, Zea. Her voice was hushed as if she held a secret of utmost importance. She wasted no time, urging me to meet her at a specified location within a mere two hours. The question echoed in my mind: What could this meeting possibly entail? Would it be a perilous adventure or an exhilarating experience? I tried to rein in my imagination, but my thoughts spiralled out of control, refusing to be tamed.

My nose led me to a drawer, and when I opened it, I saw a giant black book inside. This must be it. I thought as I examined the book. Next to it, I saw a jade necklace that I knew belonged to Zira. I hurried and pocketed the necklace. The book, on the other hand, would not fit in my pocket. I hesitated before touching it. I felt a presence coming from it.

How long has this been decaying under my nose? “And yes. It was me all along. Ah… it feels exhilarating to say it aloud. You have no idea how long I have waited for this.” Zapier closed his eyes briefly, savoring the feeling. “Daemonikai mad or dead—either worked. Vladya long gone. Then there would have been only me. But that little human kept intercepting my plans at every turn.”

It looked harmless, but he knew better. “That thing," he swore. “We have to get rid of that book, before it does something else." Alexa pulled back, her eyes swollen yet surprisingly dry. She hesitated, her eyes narrowing on the book. "You're right!” She swallowed. "We should get rid of it.” Together, they approached the book. Zephyr reached for it, his heart pounding in his chest like it'd fly out the very next mimite. The second his fingers grazed the cover, the room shuddered.

I don’t have time for this. The soft ding of the elevator announces my arrival, and I step out, heading straight for Zoe’s room. My hands push the door open, and what I see stops me in my tracks. Zoe is lying on the bed, propped up on pillows, flipping through a book. She looks calm, completely at ease. And then I see it—the book in her hands. It’s the book. The same one I stole from the library. The werewolf book. My stomach twists as memories flood back, all the questions, all the warnings.

I hissed. I ran at Silas. I didn't use a punch or a kick. I grabbed the leather-bound book from my pocket. It was still glowing with the purple and green light from the last chapter. I didn't throw it at him. I shoved the blue microchip, the one I had pulled from the Bryan-machine into the spine of the book. BZZZZT. The book didn't just grow this time. It opened a hole in the air. A massive, black vacuum started to suck in the gray dust. It was a "Delete" command, but it wasn't coming from the sky. It was coming from me.

He hated this kind of situation because she seemed to be entangled in everything and there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it. Several hours later, they were still searching the Archive, there were more books,more records and even more questions they didn't have an answer to. Zara sat at one of the tables flipping through another ancient text, her eyes hurt and her head. She was beginning to suspect old books were secretly weapons. A shadow fell on the book she was holding, it was Valkyrie. The vampire woman held another book beneath her arm. "You should see this." She said That statement made her dear tickle, her wolf growled in annoyance.

I looked around until a shelf caught my attention, on top of the shelf is a sign posted in it that reads 'Bondage and Sadomasochism', I wander through the shelf until a book caught my attention.
