Zaroff In The Most Dangerous Game Novels & Stories

“Thanks but there’s a slight problem, Mr. Ardolf, “ said the officer immediately, making Nikolas wary and alert. “What problem, officer?” he asked, pulling Brooklyn closer to him with his other arm around her shoulders. “Last night, our men guarding Brandon’s room at the hospital had been attacked when two of Freddie Miller’s men tried to break in,” said officer Warner. Brooklyn gasped with horror as a sob escaped her mouth. “We have a very dangerous criminal here with a vast network. I would suggest that you be very careful, Mr. Ardolf,” said the officer. “Is Brandon okay? Have the men been arrested?” asked Nikolas with a frown, feeling worried hearing about the grave danger they were in.

“But you’re still stuck with me—stuck with unending missions then.” Dammit. I didn’t know what to do anymore. This mission was dangerous, but I was Zara. I could handle it if he didn’t find out who I really was. Why had I lost my mind? What the hell had I expected from a Mafia if not killing? But I hadn’t anticipated the torture part. No, i know he marked them, but i never knew that was the pain they felt each time. The screams of that man echoed in my mind, and I shuddered.

The scent of Terre D'Hermes emanating from his body added to the conviction that this man was really the one who kissed me in front of the elevator earlier. The realization woke me up. Suddenly, the atmosphere around us was noisy as a woman received the misdirected bullet. The man quickly stood, searching for the shooter, slipping on the sunglasses he’d dropped. Things got noisier as the two of them clashed guns. Wait, this charming man was also playing with a gun? People screeched as the sound of explosions came from their weapons. Some ran for their lives and others hid wherever they felt strong enough. “Get down!” he yelled at me. The Baldy was still attacking us. The handsome man picked

I felt my feet grow numb as I staggered a bit, causing the lampshade that was rested on the cabinet crash down. They all raised their heads up as they looked at my direction. Luckily enough I had hidden myself in the dark as I tried control how fast my heart beat. It pace was really fast as I rested my right hand on my chest and my left hand was on my mouth so that I don't end up crying out. I wouldn't let them take me to the Alpha. Alpha Darwin was one notorious man in the whole of Chicago and every pack in Chicago feared him. He had no heart, no conscience, be was a beast.

Even with four powerful assassins holding them back, Zen and Damian barely escaped the hundreds of hounds. Looking back while running, Zen noticed how the night hounds would not pass a certain line. They eventually slowed down and stopped. Was there an invisible barrier marking the safe zone? Stopping suddenly, Zen turned back. Damian was startled but realised how Zen was already locked in with his plan. He would not change his mind now that it was made up. “Shoot them for me if I’m wrong,” the gamer told Damian. “I want to test the boundaries of the safe zone.” A safe zone… reminded Zen about his luck in the opening ceremony when he escaped Sasha. It’s funny how the tables were turned, and

It’s very dangerous to Zara. The military men brought a drug which can make people unconscious in seconds. They shot all the goons with the drug knocking them out. He searched all rooms but didn’t find Susan. When he wanted to retreat to the top floor he was shocked to see the people heading upstairs and Lucien’s with them. He also saw a man who resembled Lucien but was a bit darker than him.

The loaded shot gun perched under the counter was proof enough. After nodding a polite ‘hello’ to Gerald, I led Zack over to the wobbly table of painted wolf carvings. One white wolf stood atop a mountain; head raised as it howled at an invisible moon. Another carving showed a brown wolf, hackles raised as it prepared to pounce at an unseen enemy. After reminding Zack not to touch, his eyes roamed each wolf with excitement. “This one.” Zack grinned widely, “This is my wolf!”

Nestor got up and was reaching for his gun, but Darko was quick to draw his guns and pointed them at the older mob boss and his underboss. "Go, now!" Darko speaks for his boss' while pointing his guns at the men in front of him. Nestor put his gun back to its strap and curse but decided to walk away from Yegor and Darko. Being with the cartel the longest he knows when he needed to go back and strategize his next move. The room was quiet when Nestor and his underboss left and that's when Yegor asked Darko. "Do you think Zasha is safe there? will Nestor do her harm?"

Zara whined, covering her face with her paws. “Yes, Eden. I want you to shift so I can fuck your wolf.” “You filthy, dirty…” Storm started, but I shot him a look to stop him. This was a King Pin, head of a massive and dangerous mafia family. I was trying to save Caleb’s life. The last thing I needed was to save Storm’s, too. Storm understood. Even though he was full of rage, he snapped his mouth shut. I didn’t know what to do. Of course I couldn’t sacrifice Zara like that. It was disgusting and depraved.

he asked stepping forward. "I've never been better. Would you like buffalo for breakfast?" I brought the animal from behind me to show to him and smiled. "Zara, what's wrong with you?" he asked looking .... concerned? Meh, I don't care for his concern. Wyatt's POV I looked into the eyes of my mate and they didn't look hers. It was like she was not Zara. I looked at the buffalo that she killed. It looked dreadfully dead. "Well, no shit Sherlock," August, my wolf glared.
