DANIEL’S POV The blue light from the monitors reflected in Zeke’s eyes, making him look even more like the sociopath he was. He had been hunched over the keyboard for hours, lines of code scrolling past at a nauseating speed. The air in his private den was thick with the scent of ozone and expensive espresso. "Okay, for real, this is a hard task, Daniel," Zeke commented, clicking his tongue as he continued to punch mercilessly at the keys. "This user's firewall is strong. They seemed extremely prepared for this intrusion. It’s almost professional."

She was afraid that he was a bad person who wanted to kidnap her because of her stepfather's status as a very dangerous military chief. But Diana's wild thoughts disappeared when the man introduced himself.... "I'm Darren, that's my name." Darren? Annabelle's friend? Diana had never known. "I'm the boy who caught you crying in the restroom when your mom scolded you," he said again. Dana immediately shut her mouth. She finally remembered! Darren, the son of Alpha Adam who currently leads Pack Kyne. Diana still didn't think they would meet again. Especially after not meeting for a long time, she didn't recognize his face.

Alpha Nathan teased “this dress should cover the bruise on your back, and I don’t recommend wearing heels if they’re going to hurt you. I’ll go shower and get ready. Call me out if you need anything…” Nathan kept his arm wrapped around me as we entered the club, walking through the VVIP’s door, entering the lounge which was filled with men who wore suits. Carter stood beside one of them, glaring at the surrounding before his stance loosened up when he caught sight of us. He raised an eyebrow when he saw me, winking, making his Alpha shake his head as he extended a hand to shake.

Lisa pov.. I sat there, watching Drake as he continued to drink, as if I wasn't even in front of him. "So, do you accept my deal?" I asked him. He stopped drinking and stared at me. "I really don't understand what you're trying to say. You want me to do the same process as before? At first, it was easy, but now I think it will be difficult. Dean will never let me go near his Luna, and whatever you're planning, it won't work this time."

Dean: “Why was Sabine helping though? Knowing her, she doesn’t do anything for free.” Viktor asked and I shook my head. I knew that Sabine didn’t do me this favor for free, but whatever the reason was, I knew that I was about to find out. If Lorenzo was playing a dark game, then I was going to be the one to stop him. To say the least, I was going to be the one to draw his limits.

“As any one who has regarded you lengthy enough I don't assume you need another bimbo caught to you. We need any individual with a motherly vibe and of route she wants to be attractive, but greater girl-next-door and much less your regular Barbie-doll. The market need to consider that she’s a actual person, so in all likelihood any person from humble beginnings... Zeke smiled. He already knew the perfect girl for the job. Someone he bought alongside with and was once possibly the most cheerful individual he’d ever met. “I won’t need your candidates,” Zeke informed her. “I have someone in mind. As long as I can convince her, she’ll be perfect.”

My fingers swipe the screen to answer the live call. The exact second my voice connects, Magnus's highly excited, shouting tone blasts out of the speaker. "Kid! Your hand finally picked up my call!" Ignoring Magnus’s loud agitation, my tongue speaks calmly, "This is Zanele Okafor. Little Jabari and Amara are sitting safe right beside my couch." "Zanele?" "Yes." Magnus, who is currently speeding through the territory inside his black pack vehicle, slaps his own forehead hard with his palm.

“What do you want?” Beta Zeke stood at the top of the mezzanine stairs a few feet from my bed. He had a black leather jacket, black jeans and white vest. The white of the vest highlighted his olive skin. I already knew he was ripped underneath, thanks to Livi providing me an immediate flash of remembrance. Those dark eyes stared right at me. With no emotion, “I’m heading back north.” “How long are you leaving me here for? I can’t stay here forever! I should be at Cragstone”

Zeke drove us to some club I didn't know, claiming he knew the bouncer so we wouldn't have to wait in a queue on anything. When we got there he parked the car and we gotout and followed Zeke to the front of the club. We passed the line of humans waiting to get in, all of them making noises of complaints, and to the intimidating looking bouncer at the front. As soon as he saw me he lowered his head slightly, "Luna" he smiled at me. I said a quick hello and he let us all in.
