The girl practically sprinted away. “Thank you,” Zeda said, smiling at him. She wasn’t usually a fan of bullying, but right now, she didn’t care. “It’s nothing. You looked a little lost in this wilderness,” Draven said, picking up a book half-heartedly and dropping it back on the shelf. “Yeah, my first time here,” Zeda admitted. “Tell me about it,” Draven chuckled. Zeda wasn’t surprised. Draven didn’t strike her as a book person, especially with Vyr and Rylan as his friends.

I knew it.” Zena looked rather unimpressed by my victory noise, both hands placed firmly on her waist. I couldn’t contain my joy and the way warmth spread across my chest knowing Zena had been reading the book. Rochelle was a character of mine in the book I was planning to write.

She stood there, blinking in silence. The two were able to leave after ten minutes.
