Zodiac Academy 7 Novels & Stories

You'd think after seventeen years, I'd be used to it. You'd be wrong. "Aria Blackwood," I read aloud, tracing the elegant calligraphy with my thumb. No one in Pine Hollow received mail with such beautiful writing. Hell, most of us were lucky if the bills arrived without coffee stains. The return address made my blood turn to ice: Crimson Moon Academy. "No," I whispered, my hands starting to shake. "No, no, no." But there it was, the official seal pressed into blood-red wax—a crescent moon wrapped around a wolf's head. Everyone knew what that meant. Every human between seventeen and nineteen knew what that meant.

He winks. I roll my eyes. “Of course.” We part ways at a fork in the hall. He heads left toward a class I don’t share, while I continue straight. ‘That boy is stronger than he lets on,’ Ezra murmurs. ‘Really? But he’s so…’ ‘Don’t be fooled, Eldora. Everyone in this academy is hiding one thing or the other.’ ‘I’ll keep that in mind. By the way, is there anything I can do to make my wolf grow faster?’

A figure emerged from the darkness, stepping into the moonlight. Zyra's heart raced as she recognized the tall figure before her. It was Alpha Luca, the leader of the Azure Moon Pack, known for their fierce loyalty and strong bond. He approached Zyra with an intense gaze, his eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and caution. "Alpha Luca," Zyra acknowledged respectfully, her voice steady despite the adrenaline surging through her veins. "What brings you here?" Alpha Luca's gravelly voice echoed through the night air as he spoke, "Word of your abilities has reached my pack. I came to witness them myself."

It was at this time, Andrea came back, and she landed on Frost's back. " Anita, I got some information for you." " Tell me." Anita's expression changed immediately. Andrea took a deep breath and responded, " Alpha Zayn's pack is under a calamity for the past a decade. They have been having an attack from unknown creatures, and the priestess told them, the arrival of the Luna can put an end to all that. As of right now, the beta is organizing a ceremony of maiden picking for the Alpha, cause they couldn't wait anymore."

She did not have the right to become a disciple of the Welkin Academy. While they headed toward the central region, the Sect Elder’s subordinates had also entered the painting. The current Sect Elder in charge of the admission progress was called Yoan Xenocrates, one of the Ten Sect Elders of the Welkin Academy. He was in charge of various affairs of the academy. Besides that, he also had many disciples under him. Over the past ten years, Zayn Bridger was the most distinguished among all. Although the one who was sent to test James’ strength was not as strong as Zayn, he was not a pushover either. His name was Wendel Yossi, and he was currently at the Immortal Ascension Third Stair.

Maria Mendoza, previously number three voiced. “I agree with seven, we would be safe now anyway. It is not like we even know our way around the area, we would get lost. Jacob never kept us as prisoners, and I don’t think he would do that now. I think this is to keep us safe and well, we could continue training while we wait for the Alpha King to summon us like what the man in black said,” Zoey said walking back over to them as she understood what Seven was implying. “I am hungry,” Seven finally said as she walked over to the dining table, normally breakfast would be there by then, but with Mrs. Martha gone, now they would have to prepare their own meals.

It was supposed to look abandoned to keep curious humans away but that never works, so the entire school is under a cloaking spell of some kind. I let out a defeated sigh and make sure my hoodie is pulled over my face, before trudging along the walkway into the academy. As I enter, my eyes catch sight of white and black feathers. Tears fill my eyes and my hand flies over my mouth to stifle a sob. Julie quickly rushes to comfort me. She puts her arms around me, careful to not touch my back. She shushes me quietly, and I try to stop the tears from escaping. "It's alright Luciana, everything will be fine—they’re just like you," she says in my ear. "No they're not, they have wings."

Pour moon water on it. I started to hum a song as I patted his head. Nova came to my side. Aya, her axolotl, looked curious. You’re so good to him, and they thought humans couldn’t have a familiar. Nova, can you keep a secret? I’m your best friend, Zadira, yes, of course. Swear you’ll never betray me? I’m in love and scared… the words just came out. It’s dangerous if anyone finds out. The academy has rules about students and…, if they discover it, it could get me expelled or worse.

The eclipse shone bright, we could slowly see the moon becoming redder by the minute. Zander stared into my eyes as he spoke. "I, Zander Damon Knight, Alpha of Wolf's Pond pack, take you, Hazel Fiona Valentine, to be my mate and my Luna. I promise to love, honour and cherish you always and forever." Zander's voice rang through the sea of wolves. It was husky and sexy.

I fired at him back. "Wow, it seems our play toy is now strong enough to talk back to its owner," mum said, coming into the room. "Didn't I told you that she has grown wings now?, She had the effrontery to talk back at me simply because the Patriarch family wants you as the next luna of their pack which I'll make sure it's doesn't come to pass not while I'm still on the surface of earth" he said to me holding my chin more tightly, eyes full with rage and hatred his veins are almost popping out of his neck as he speaks with total anger.
