Not anymore. Zoe sighed, pushing aside the thoughts that threatened to linger. She had a job—a real one. She wasn’t just Adonis Walter’s contract wife. She was Zoe Powers, a five-star therapist. Reaching for her phone, she decided that if this so-called honeymoon was already a disaster, she might as well get back to work. She scrolled through her messages, checking for new clients. Most were familiar—high-profile names she had worked with before or new referrals. But one stood out.

I replied as we both laughed. Dylan arrived during lunch break and Zoe was still with me. "Hey Zoe." Dylan said as he walked around my table to kiss me. "Hey Dylan. How was your weekend?" Zoe asked grinning. Dylan only chuckled."The best." He replied. Zoe joined us during the meal but left when she received a message about an order that just came in at work. "See you soon." She said and left. "What does Zoe do?" Dylan asked as he packed the plates. "She is a fashion designer. Owns her own line." I replied. Dylan nodded.

Zoe Hayward interrupts CEO Feng, glancing coldly over Feng and finally landing on CEO Feng. "Originally, I was thinking about working with CEO Feng, but now it seems that I have to review it!" Zoe Hayward adjusts the hem of her dress, which caught on the window switch for an instant after she jumped off the balcony and nearly killed her. "What did you say, Zoe Hayward? I haven't done anything, why would you withdraw your cooperation with us?" "Feng Mo-ying poked his head over CEO Feng and glared at Zoe Hayward.

- I reached a final decision after pondering on it for a while. "Okay. I'll send you the details, I'm leaving now" - she turned to the meek girl with the huge framed glasses. "She's in your hands now" - she smiled before heading out the door. Without Rachel around, my attention turned to the young lady, "I believe introductions are in order. My name is Selene Woods and you?" - I initated a formal introduction between us both. "Bennett Gale, I'm an intern at the agency and I'm also a big fan of your movies, ma'am" - she spoke excitedly with a big grin on her face.

Babe? “What the fuck?” Zoe muttered under her breath. The girl threw herself straight at Zack, wrapping her arms around him as if she belonged there. “Babe! You’re finally back!” Zoe’s silver eyes widened in disbelief. Babe? Celeste repeated, furious now. Zoe slowly turned her head toward Zack. He looked like he’d just been struck by lightning. The girl clung to him like a vine. “I missed you so much!” she continued in a sugary voice. Zoe blinked once, twice. Then she turned around and walked straight toward the door.

ZION "Zion, for fucks sakes. Can't you keep your hands to yourself," Kendra fumed as she swatted my fingers away from her, "Didn't your mama teach you not to mess with a black girl's weave!" The scowl on her face amused me as well the red weave she decided to get during the weekend.

Amelia’s POV “Hey,” Zane yelled loudly and I took off my ear pods that I was wearing and looked at him. He was looking hot as fuck in his black denim and blue shirt. His hair slightly tousled and I fought the urge to run my hair through them. “Oh, Hi!” I breathed out with a smitten smile. “I just wanted to know if you’d be free today?” he asked and my breath caught up. “What for?” I asked, carefully. “Well, we haven’t completed the assignment that Mrs. Gomez gave us,” he reminded me.

Later that night, my father sends more security to keep watch over Zoe, as Noah gets to go to the safe house to be with his wife and daughter. Zoe seems to be much better in herself now the fluids are starting to work, and the medication has eased her sickness, the doctors are hoping she will be discharged soon. Zoe giggles as she lets out a massive yawn. I laugh as I say. "Get some rest baby; you look exhausted." Zoe smiles as she pulls back the sheet and pats the bed next to her. "You don't look so great yourself Aiden, come on jump in your supposed to be resting yourself."

Charles sent me a video call request, and after some thought, I accepted. The moment the call connected, his frantic voice came through, "Jennie, look! I've killed Dad and Mom! They're the ones who came between us, spoke badly about you, and mistreated you while I wasn't around, so I've taken revenge for you! "Won't you forgive me and give me something to eat, Jennie?" Seeing him try and claim credit, a wave of disgust rose in my chest. How could I trust someone who could kill his own parents?

“Zoe, eat your eggs.” “I am eating them.” “You are moving them around the plate in a circle. That is not eating.” Zoe looked up. “Mummy. Are we going somewhere today?” Bianca turned from the counter. “What makes you ask that?” “You’ve checked your phone four times since I sat down and you only do that when something is happening.” Zoe stabbed a piece of egg. “Also you changed your shirt twice.” Bianca looked at her nine year old daughter sitting at the kitchen table in her pyjamas dissecting her behaviour with the calm precision of a small detective and said nothing because there was nothing to say that would not confirm everything.
