Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

Once His Wallflower, Now His Biggest Mistake

"I’ve been looking at the Sky-Phantom 9000. It’s a military-grade drone with 4K thermal imaging and a six-mile range. It costs twelve thousand dollars. Retail." "You’re five! You’ll fly it into a tree!" "I’ve been practicing on the simulator," Leo replied, unbothered. "Also, Uncle Julian is downstairs with a fingerprint kit. He’s very excited. He thinks he’s going to catch a ghost. If I show him this watch, he won't have to look for prints anymore." I looked at the watch. Then I looked at the stairs. "You’re blackmailing me?" "I prefer the term venture capital," Leo said. "The drone for the watch. And I want the drone delivered to the service entrance by tomorrow morning. Anonymous shipping.

BLOOD MOON REDEMPTION

BLOOD MOON REDEMPTION

"You cannot fight a machine with a silver knife, Calista!" "Look at the fuel line!" I pointed my good right hand toward the belly of the hovering drone. Because I was a doctor, my eyes were trained to look for the weakest point in anything, whether it was a human artery or a piece of steel machinery. Directly under the spinning gun barrels, a small rubber tube was pulsing with a bright blue fluid. It was the synthetic blood that powered the drone's engine. "Jarek" I screamed, turning my head toward the dark bushes behind our log.

Frozen Revenge

Frozen Revenge

Toward the stairwell that would take them back to Level Three. The first drone appeared. Quad-rotor. Armed with automatic weapons. It locked onto Morrison. He dove behind equipment as it fired. Bullets tore through a laboratory station. Chemical storage tanks ruptured. Smoke filled the corridor. "Move!" Morrison shouted. "Get them up the stairs!" More drones appeared. The team was pinned. Subjects exposed. No cover. Dr. Vance ran back toward Hammond's laboratory. "Where are you going?" Maya shouted. Vance didn't answer. She reached Hammond's control station. Grabbed the doctor. Held her in front of the cameras.

No Place for a Packless Wolf

No Place for a Packless Wolf

Valerius growled, preparing to release his protective mist. But it's not magic. It was the thermal sensor of the Vanguard Inner City Security Division's "Black-Widow" micro combat drone squadron. The drone's red eyes are not a curse, but rather a mini-sized nuclear-powered target locking laser. Before the ancient Alpha could even summon his arcane shield, a merciless barrage of hyper-velocity rounds shattered the concrete beneath his feet. As the mechanical swarm descended for the kill, Valerius realized with chilling dread that in this new metallic era, technology was the ultimate apex predator.

The Surrogate’s Blade

The Surrogate’s Blade

Outside, the night was a void, the manicured trees casting skeletal shadows across the lawn. “What the hell is that?” he whispered. I saw it. A matte-black shape, no larger than a dinner plate, hovering three feet from the glass. A Syndicate stealth drone—a 'Thorn' model. It didn't have cameras; it had a sensor array that looked like a cluster of fly’s eyes, all of them pointed directly at my bed. It was looking for the signal. It was looking for the silver fire in my blood that the crushed bug had stopped reporting. “Security!” Marcus barked into his wrist-comm.

Dark Dragon

Dark Dragon

Kimber stood by, watching the ensuing chaos in horror. “Dragon, I'll get you, all of you,” he screamed, as Nick and Adam held him down. But Madchen paid no attention, as she watched Drago turn a shade of blue, and foam at the mouth. “Drago!” She dropped to her knees, shaking him by the shoulders, but he didn’t respond. Instead, he stared up at the lights, seeming catatonic. His green eyes faded to a deep black, rolling to the back of his head.

I love this book! The story is very captivating! My only complaint is that some chapters are repeated and some excerpts of chapters are repeated, causing you to pay more than what is worth. But that isn't on the author and should be fixed by Good Novel.

I gotta give the author mad props. I mean I’m flying through this book like mad. I know the story is ongoing but come on board. So find a comfortable spot and your favorite drink and get lost in this. Oh don’t forget your blanket my house is cold. They have the air WAY TO LOW

HALF BREED

HALF BREED

"Lieutenant... Major... Welcome to my office" Margaret grinned and pointed at the machine. "The loot tells me that this pathetic piece of shit actually worked. Is that true?" Oko's teeth were extremely white. "Yes, ma'am. Take a look". A table loaded with olive drab com gear sat off to one side. Oko touched some keys, video blossomed, and Margaret found herself looking at a drone eye view of the desert. It turned and spiraled upward. "Sorry about that", Oko said, turning a knob, "but vultures fly in circles. That was why it worked - because I programmed the drone to do the same thing".

Mated To The Alpha Alien

Mated To The Alpha Alien

ZIONs POV… While I take cover under a large tree, I press my back flush against the tree trunk with a vicious snarl escaping past my cold, trembling lips. As I exited the cave searching for some fire branches, a high-tech drone with heat sensory and a wide range of distance sensory was heading in my direction. I had to use my whip blade to cover my footprints through the thick snow, hoping they wouldn't be able to track me. The people of ODRION are different. They worship a God that doesn't exist, making their beliefs and rituals erratic and fatal without a real purpose.

Definitely wasn't expecting the writing to be great! Usually when I come across popular werewolf stories, they contain many grammatical and spelling errors but this one showed how the author really take time crafting their chapters. I'm not into the werewolf genre but this one is greatly written!

Shadow Moon

Shadow Moon

"Just promise me you'll take care of yourself, okay?" Aqua nodded, a lump forming in her throat. "I promise." With one last glance, she climbed out of the truck and watched as Damon drove away into the fading light. As she entered her house, the weight of the vision still hung heavy on her mind, a reminder of the darkness that lurked within her.

My Brother Is A Zombie.

My Brother Is A Zombie.

It would've been an easy move for an eleven-year-old to make. As Melissa and Adam chatted, Brie checked the cameras over once again. The inside of the store looked thankfully deserted. There was a fire exit that could let them escape once Adam was feeling better, but it was currently swarmed with walkers. The entrance was also busy, which put them in a sticky situation. They had no escape. Unless Brie could find a distraction. She scanned the aisles through the screen, noting that the blind man was now outside. As she watched him through the camera, he swayed and fell occasionally, struggling to pick himself up. The virus had taken him fully.
