Just when Lucas was about to leave the place, he sensed something odd. There was a black dog that looked like it was only a few months old. The dog was engaged in a battle with a wild boar that was infected with the zombie virus.

It was surrounded by those 'walkers', stumbling around like they were in a trance. "What are they?" He breathed out, staring in disbelief. He chugged some water, letting out a sigh of hydrated relief. "They call them walkers." She pointed the screen down slightly to allow him to see easier and switched to the website she was reading. "There's information on them, finally." As Adam read, she watched his expression change from confused to terrified. "This is like an actual zombie movie." He spluttered, barely able to get his words out. Behind them, a stirring caught their attention.

I send a forceful punch to his face knocking him out cold. His buddy Buzz is oblivious to the actions taking place behind him. He slips his hand up her short shirt. The chunky girl tries to squirm from his grasp. I run up behind him grabbing the back of his head and slamming it into the brick wall. The girl yelps in surprise and we both watch his unconscious body fall to the ground. I can hear the faint beat of his heart so he should only be out a few hours. I promised myself long ago I wouldn’t kill any humans. Now if these guys were vampires, well that’s a whole different ball park.

The big fellow seems to think he is the size of a tiny dog. "I think they hunt during nighttime; it would be our biggest chance of infiltrating their home. Hopefully, they are keeping Ryan prisoner at this location," I look over at Blue, who tilts his head at me. "You're sure that he is here?" The zombie dog nods at me. He seems intelligent enough to understand that barking here isn't a good idea. I think it's funny that my team members are all mutated animals. My male lizard is named Cuddles, the zombie dog is named Blue, and then I call the female lizard Lizzie.

Can you believe that?” She’s talking so fast, smiling and crying. “It’s so good to be home.” She throws herself into Cara’s arms again.

The room temperature seemed to drop instantly. An invisible fear enveloped us. Just then, Poppy’s smartwatch, which she had been fiddling with, finally connected to Castiel’s phone. “Daddy, hurry home! Zombies are in the base!” Hearing his daughter’s words, Castiel grew impatient. “Stop spouting nonsense! How could zombies suddenly get into the base? Daddy is busy. Can you please stop bothering me?” June urgently shouted into the phone, “Castiel, we’re not spouting nonsense! Zombies are already inside the base! Hurry back with reinforcements and save us!”
