I shot down a couple that got too close. Through the corner of my eye, I saw Yvonne stood petrified, and she was shaking all over. A zombie lunged at her. I thought it would tear her apart, but Yvonne rolled out of the way, then she snapped up a metal pipe and smashed it down on the zombie.

POV: Sylvia (One Week Later) The silence in my penthouse was no longer peaceful. It felt heavy, like the air before a devastating storm. For seven days, Zia had been a ghost. She was behind the walls of the Vance estate, protected by a security detail that even Leo couldn't penetrate without starting a literal war.

She never finished. Thick blood splashed across half her face. Bright red flooded her eyes. She wiped at them and shrieked, "Who the hell threw water at me?!" A mutated zombie had slipped in and was ripping through people, biting anything it could reach. Bella grabbed Dylan and bolted for higher ground, blowing the whistle at her chest.

Mrs Collins screamed and turned back running towards her van while tons of zombies also started running after her. Immediately she gets to where her van was parked and wanted to open the door, the key to the van fell from her because she was trembling one of the zombies that are after Mrs Collins was so close to her and wanted to beat her when someone from nowhere showed up and hit the zombie with the long harmer he was holding.

After a while, Winston quickly signaled the two to retreat. As soon as the three backed off, the zombies hiding beneath the rubbles resurfaced and started attacking them. Side by side, the trio decided to shoot as the pistol in their hands fired consecutive shots at the zombies. It was that moment, they didn’t realize they were already firing the guns with no regards.

Willa explained. “We think her vampire feeds off of energy, though we still don’t know much about that,” Zen added. “We can help with trying to find out. What we need to do now is go back to Ameran,” Willa said as she got up. “She may not want me there,” Yael spoke up. “She won’t want me there either, but this isn’t about her. Besides, he’s been dead for years Yael. It’s time you got your sister back. Your mother would want that,” Willa told her.

The next second, he was immediately drawn to Winnie's scream. "Hans! I'm scared!" He hesitated for a second before immediately turning his gun toward the zombies near Winnie. My heart sank to the bottom of my stomach.
