It felt like I was in a dream, and I was scared that any moment now, I’d wake up back in Lyon’s palace. “Do you think he’ll come after me?” I asked. Robin was quiet for a long time. “I don’t know,” he said honestly. “He might. But I’ll get you far enough that even he will think twice before chasing.”

I snapped back. “So do you two always lock horns like this ?” Jax asked amused while taking some of the burden from Rob. “When you got a whiny, stuck up Beta, you have got to do what I do,” I sighed dramatically and Rob sent his best glare my way. “I have a good mind to cut your rope, Zara,” Rob smirked as he pulled us into the cave. “Any last words ?” he teased. “I won’t die asshole and that too a virgin,” I laughed.

Julian muttered, but I silenced him with a sharp look. “Did she just call him Alpha?” Rose whispered behind me. “Stop,” Robin croaked, and the girl instantly released him. “I’m fine,” he told her though he looked anything but. “You look far from fine,” a man with sharp green eyes said, stepping forward. “I’m fine, Zane,” Robin insisted, though he nearly doubled over. “Who are they?” Zane’s gaze flicked toward me. “Before introductions,” I cut in, my voice sharp, “Robin needs treatment.”

She wasn't going to let a mad primordial take her future. Zoran pulled her close, his eyes fixed on the dark woods where the crow had vanished. He knew that the battle for the new flame was about to begin.

This is not a drill, and we are under attack!” “Finally!” Kylo hums as he reaches behind his back, producing what looks to be a gun, and he aims it at Zion. “NO!!!” I cry out when he pulls the trigger, and the gun releases a tranquilizer that punctures the side of Zions' neck. Zion stumbles, collapsing to his knees as his gaze locks with mine. A look of intense fear and impending danger shines brightly in his eyes, and the overwhelming panic I was feeling moments ago starts to consume me with its terrifying presence.

Robin answered warmly, "Yes, I was on my phone. You called just as I finished watching the video you sent." Russ laughed and asked, "Could this be telepathy?" Robin smiled when she heard that. She replied, "Kind of." There was a short silence before Russ said, "I hope that next time, you'll be with me playing in the snow." Robin was saddened by his words. She looked out the window into the foggy distance. It seemed that a storm was coming. She took a breath and said, "Mr. Cobbett, I might be getting engaged."
