He looked like he was ready to kill me. He looked at me like I was his worst enemy. I was in deep shit.

Adam resumes walking to the kitchen but stops in the doorway. He sees Bella at the counter, swaying her hips to some invisible music that only she hears as she spreads chocolate icing on the cake.
