Maya said as she followed me upstairs to the bedroom. “Slow down, Jess,” she finally caught up to me as I got to the room and threw myself on the bed. “Start talking.” She hovered above me. “Jordan Denver, rather, Jordan nuisance ruined my fucking date,” I yelled as I picked up a pillow and pressed it over my face tightly so I wouldn’t wake everyone else up. “Give me the tea!!” Maya laughed as she sat close to me on the bed. I took away the pillow slowly from my face and used it to pillow-punch her.

"Natalie, you haven't walked on the runway for a long time, right? Tonight, All Night Manor has a night show. Get ready," Sienna said with a friendly smile. "Sienna, All Night Manor is a nightclub!" Natalie exclaimed in shock. They wanted her to do a show there?! All Night Manor was a famous nightclub in Novarisia, a luxurious venue with high-end clientele. It was a favorite gathering place for the wealthy and decadent youth of Paykston, and a place filled with countless shady dealings.

I say jerking my head towards my bedroom The dog jumps up and heads for my room, her tail between her legs as the wolves sing into the night. I follow the dog, feeling cheated by the wolves. Once in my room I drop my books next to my back and head for bed. Shana jumps onto the end of the bed, a comforting reminder I hadn't lost everyone when Irana had been killed. My mum may have been lost within the sorrow and my dad consumed by anger and pity, but Shana was still here, reassuring me that i wasn't alone
