Damon spared him a glance before turning to me. “Do you want his head, little mouse?” Sabrina thought nothing could be worse than being deceived by the man she loved the most—until the day he shattered her world completely. “Elena is my mate, and I’ve deceived you this entire time. We recognized each other the moment she turned eighteen. Dating you was all a game my mate wanted, and it was fun taking part in it.” Heartbroken and betrayed, Sabrina believed she had hit rock bottom. But she was wrong. When her family and pack offered her as a sacrifice to the most feared Alpha in existence, she realized her nightmare was only beginning. *** Alpha Damon Blackthorn, a thousand years old beast cursed by the gods, a ruthless leader no one dared to defy. Yet, from the moment he laid his eyes on Sabrina, something snapped. Mate. His wolf yearned for her, yet she couldn’t recognize him. She was wolfless. *** Sabrina wanted an escape. Ever since she came to the blackthorn pack, something changed. It felt like she was hallucinating and was on the verge of going mad. She had crazy dreams. Dreams so vivid they bled into reality, warning her of what was to come. A connection between her and Damon simmered beneath the surface, dangerous, forbidden, and impossible to ignore. But the truth is far darker than either of them realize. Sabrina wasn’t just a sacrifice…she was the key to breaking Damon’s curse. And with war looming and ancient forces stirring, Sabrina must decide: escape and save herself, or embrace the darkness and risk losing her soul to the cursed Alpha who might just be her fate.

I ran, my bare feet sinking into the muddy, wet ground, my breath coming in sharp gasps. The sound of footsteps grew louder as they chased me, the orange glow of their torches revealing how close they were. I lost my footing and fell. Looking back, I saw them more clearly—there were about a hundred of them, their eyes eerily white and devoid of pupils. They seemed lost, almost like they had no control over themselves. But one thing was certain: they were after me...or perhaps not. I shut my eyes tightly, waiting for my end. My years of fruitless suffering were finally coming to a close. One! Two!! Three!!! I counted in my head, expecting their sharp fangs to pierce the flesh of my neck, but it never happened. Instead, there was only silence. I could hear their footsteps slowly fading away. Cautiously, I opened my eyes and saw no sign of them. Where did they go? Did they see me? A loud shriek jolted me out of my thoughts. Where did that come from? I got up and followed the sound. I tracked the wolves' footsteps, leading me to the most horrific, lifeless body I had ever seen. I fell to the ground, covering my mouth in shock, trying to stifle the scream that threatened to escape. The lifeless body lay sprawled on the ground, torn apart in a way that made my stomach churn. The sight was horrifying—limbs twisted at unnatural angles, deep gashes running across what was left of the torso, and the face... Oh, the face. It was the worst of all; eyes wide open, staring blankly at the night sky, devoid of life. Blood pooled around the mutilated body, the metallic scent threatening to make me retch. I tried to make sense of what was happening when another loud shriek came. No, it wasn’t one. Thousands of yells threatened to destroy my eardrums. In horror, I traced the sounds but then something was wrong. This place was all too familiar. I know this place. I walked with hastier footsteps then it all just came to me. This was Red moon pack. This was my pack. My hurried steps turned into running and I crashed into a tree only that I didn’t have any casualties but passed through it. I was in too much of a daze to figure out what that was and I kept on running until I reached the pack house borders and met a trail of lifeless bodies sprawled all over the ground. Some had transformed into their wolves while some weren’t even allowed to transform and put up a fight. I ran deeper into the pack and found the wolves snarling and biting every soul they could find. I stood still, unable to move a single muscle at the sight before me. Why weren't the wolves attacking me? Couldn't they see me? As that thought flashed through my mind, a wolf suddenly fixed its gaze on me. His eerie white eyes locked onto mine, and he bared his bloody fangs, letting out a terrifying growl. I froze, fear paralyzing me. My feet were rooted to the ground. My eyes widened as the wolf slowly advanced, causing me to stumble and fall onto my butt. The closer he came, the more I knew I needed to run, but I couldn't move. I shut my eyes tightly, bracing myself to accept my fate for the second time that night until... "Sabrina! Sabrina!! Sabrina!!!" Someone yelled my name, shaking me vigorously. My eyes flew wide open, my breathing ragged. It took me some time to recognize my surroundings before my eyes settled on Anne who had an ugly scowl on her face. It was all a dream. “Raunchy dreams?” She remarked with a sly smile, “Seeing how sweaty you are he must have rammed you real hard.” “What do you want ?” I asked ignoring her taunts. My nonchalant response seemed to strike a nerve, as Anne violently grabbed my chin and spoke through gritted teeth, “It better not be Alpha Damon you were dreaming about because if it was…” “…and If it was, what would you do?” I said calmly. She released my chin forcefully, tilting my head to the side. “Alpha Damon wouldn’t even spare you a glance. You are nothing but an item to him. A slave.” She scoffed and made to leave with her head up high before she halted her steps, “Speaking of Alpha Damon, He wants you to meet him at the dining. Don’t keep him waiting.” And with that, she left. I sank into my bed with a loud sigh the moment Anne left. Bizarre of her to think I had the hots for my enslaver, someone I had never seen, but that was the last thing on my mind right now. My weird dream occupied all of my mind. I tried to decipher it. The wolves, my pack, being able to walk through trees… I combed my damp hair with my fingers- Anne was right, I sweated buckets because my fingers couldn’t even pass through the wet locks of my hair. I sighed again. Maybe I should take the dream to be just what it was…a weird dream. I shook my head got rid of any more thoughts of the dream and started my morning. I made my bed, the creaky wooden frame shaking as I smoothened the wrinkly sheets. My room. A tiny space carved out from a storage room down in the basement. Just a few days ago, this room was a cluttered storage area, packed to the brim with boxes, old furniture, and dusty ornaments. It was a chaotic mess, with barely enough room to squeeze through the narrow pathways between the stacks of stuff. Looking around, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. I had decluttered everything, stacking them up in one corner of the room. Despite the room still being small and packed, I had created a manageable area for myself. I took a quick shower and headed out to the kitchen not wanting Anne to barge in again with her loud voice, yelling about how I’m no longer a princess but a slave and should act like one. Just as I exited my room, a hand suddenly grabbed me forcefully and pinned me to the wall. “Didn’t I summon you, Sabrina?” a low deep voice boomed throughout the basement.Sabrina’s POVI recognized this place. This same chaos. What was I doing here again? I was back at my pack house.I sat on the muddy floor looking around in confusion. I then looked ahead and saw a wolf running towards me, his eyes set on me.I closed my eyes tightly, waiting for the impact but it never came. I opened my eyes and the wolf had disappeared, turning back, I saw the wolf tearing at another wolf behind me.I remembered the last time I was here, it was a dream. Was I dreaming again? Or was I dead? The last thing I remember was a big black wolf with blue eyes, saving me from those rogues. Did he kill them so he could eat me instead? The running wheels of questions in my mind, silenced out the chaos happening around me. I caught a figure moving stealthily in the mix, looking around to see if anyone was following him.On a closer look, I realized it was my uncle, Alpha Gerald. He looked younger, his gray hair was black, all slicked back. I stood up and went after him. I stil
Sabrina’s POVMy mind went blank at the sight of the rogues. I didn’t even realize I dropped my bag, but I didn’t pick it up. I turned on my heels and moved as fast as I could despite my limp. The rogue wolves walked slowly, towards me, like they were teasing me before they attacked“Please go away,” I pleaded under my breath, turning back at intervals to see if they were coming at me. My heart raced with each step— limp, I took.Suddenly, one of the wolves pranced on me from behind, causing me to fall face flat on the floor.I turned around quickly before the wolf could sink its fangs into my neck. My hands held the upper and lower jaw of the wolf’s mouth.I knew I had already lost this fight but I just couldn’t give up easily. Grunting, I forced my hand to keep its jaws from clasping together and biting off my hand.“Please…” I muttered, my tears fell sideways, the liquid tricking into my ears. “Help! Is anyone out there? Somebody help me?!” I cried underneath the snarling wolf.
Sabrina’s POVIt was passed midnight. I held my bag close to my torso, as I tiptoed out of my room. The pack house was pitch black, except for the moon that filtered in through the windows.I moved as stealthily as I could, afraid to make any noise that could alert people.I got to the living room and scanned the area, no one was in sight but that didn’t stop me from still feeling nervous. I could hear my own heartbeat and I feared others could too because of how loud it was.The pack house was so silent you could hear a pin drop. No one was in sight, but it felt like I was being watched. The feeling got under my skin, and it forced bile off my throat. With one hand to my mouth, I navigated my way around the pack house and finally got out.The night air slapped me hard on the face once I got out, the cold wind ruffling my hair in its wake. My eyes watered from the blaring wind, but the cold felt better than the heat of fear I’d been trapped in.Outside was eerily quiet, I stood in fr
Sabrina’s POVMy heart dropped hard to the floor when Alpha Damon sliced Logan’s head off his shoulder with a calm look on his face. I sat still on the bed, paralyzed with fear. I watched as some people took away Logan’s body. They didn’t seem fazed like this was a normal occurrence.Elena’s cries echoed through the room, and I turned to look at her. I wanted to, but I didn’t pity her. Why should I?Nanny Tessa hurried over to me, wrapping me in that warm motherly embrace. “You poor thing, what happened here?” She said, her voice filled with worry.I didn’t respond, I couldn’t. I stared into nothingness, still shocked to my bones.Elena then stood up and turned to me, her eyes blazing with fury as she glared at me, snot and dried tears plastered on her face. “It’s all your fault,” she shrieked, shaking tremendously.“Miss–“ nanny Tessa tried to intervene.“I’m not talking to you,” Elena cut her off, then focused back on me. “What did you do to make Alpha Damon take your side? Huh?
Damon’s POV “Alpha Damon!” Elena screamed from the door but she didn’t dare come near. “Alpha Damon, please! Don’t kill him.” Elena’s shrilling screams bounced right off my back. My wolf was maddened with rage and he took control. I could hear Logan's bones crushing under my punches. My fist collided with Logan’s face more than I could count, his face disfigured and swollen from my attack. His screams grew faint and turned into gurgled grunts, and now he barely managed to lift his arms to block my blows. “Ple…please..” Logan pleaded weakly, looking at me in shock. His pleas increased, but they bounced right off my ear as I never registered them. I grabbed a fistful of his hair, ignoring the pathetic whimper that escaped him, and yanked him off the floor like he weighed nothing. Then I tossed him across the room. He landed right in front of Sabrina. I finally looked at her. Her lips parted slightly, as she stared at me in horror. Our eyes met and the look in her eyes wrecked my
Damon’s POV “Ahhh…yes…just like that!” Her moans scratched at my eardrums like gnats at a festering wound; irritating, persistent, and impossible to drown out. My lips curled in disgust as my hips slammed into her from behind. She knelt obediently, back arched, ass pushed up like an offering, panting as if she deserved this moment. I felt nothing. Not the tight heat of her, not the slick friction I commanded with each thrust. Inside me, my wolf raged. He clawed and snarled in disapproval of what I was doing. He didn’t want her. He didn’t want me mating with anyone that wasn’t her. “Alpha… Damon… wait…” she whimpered, her breath hitching on the brink of her pleasure. “Take… it easy…” Pathetic. I clenched my jaw, my thrusts growing harsher, faster, reckless in their futility. I desperately reached for my release, but all I could see was her face. Today wasn’t my day just like every other day for the last month. A growl vibrated up my throat. The whore beneath me gasped, confu
