The kiss was nothing I had ever tasted, his lips was so soft, the way his tongue danced in perfect rhythm with mine…
Kayla. Get a rein on your thoughts.
Pushing him off my body with the last bit of strength in me, I flashed him what could pass for a murderous look. That was if he could see me.
“What the hell do you think you are doing?”
The room lit up the same moment he smacked his lips, and leaned in closer. I looked at him closely.
His blue soft eyes stared at me, his lips curved up with pure mischief. “Kissing my bride, of course.”
“You wish.”
This was the man everyone–including myself–said was very dangerous, the man who killed and destroyed people however he wanted, it was funny that now that I was in such close proximity with him, I wasn't in anyway scared at all.
And I don't think I would ever be.
His eyes stared briefly at mine, then he moved away. “Is it still hard for you to see your ex boyfriend with another woman, your half sister to be precise?”
“Mind your fucking business.” I hissed. I didn't want to think about how I saw Raven going down on a knee for Vesper. I hated how she smiled at him, I hated that he slipped a ring on her finger–a ring that should have been mine.
It should have been mine… Raven belonged to me, he was mine all along.
Axton's sudden laughter made me look at him. His voice was a melody to my ears. No, not mine, but you know, anyone who hears him laugh would agree it is a sweet voice.
“I will so much enjoy making you fall for me, darling.”
“Don’t call me that,” I snapped. “And I will rather grovel than fall in love with you.”
“Really?” He chuckled then moved away from me. “Then let's see how far you can last my seduction.”
I watched him climb off the bed, my eyes followed his rather large frame as he moved over to the window just close to the bed. He stood there for more than thirty minutes.
I was beginning to think he wouldn't say anything again, but he opened his mouth, and I wished he hadn't.
“By law Kayla,” He turned his head a little to face me, you are already my wife–”
He was still talking when I cut him off. “I don't remember saying ‘I do’, neither do I remember my father walking me down the aisle.”
“Don’t tell me–” My hand flew to my mouth as realization started to slowly dawn on me.
He nodded. His face shone with–was it mockery, or was it… did he just fucking smirk?
“You annoying asshole, how dare you do that to me?”
He simply shrugged. The hell, he just shrugged after getting married to a living but unconscious woman, a woman who didn't want to marry him, who wanted absolutely nothing to do with him.
“You are insane, totally insane.” I hissed and angrily climbed off the bed. Turning to my right, I headed for the exit. But he blocked me before I had the chance to take a step.
“You are in such a hurry.” He murmured, his eyes never left mine. “Do you even have a place to stay?”
I blinked and relaxed a little. He was right. My father wouldn't accept me back again, to him, I already married Alpha Axton, thus, I was no longer his responsibility.
I snorted silently.
He never treated me like I was his responsibility anyway.
“And even if your father would accept you back, you don't think I would let you go, do you?” He took one step closer to me. I didn't move back, instead, I stood looking straight into his eyes.”
“I fucking hate you.”
He chuckled. “Really? Well, that doesn't change the fact that we are married.”
“You keep going on and on about how by law we are married, I say, you should show me proof, I should at least see something that says we are truly binded by marriage.”
His eyes twinkled a little. “Are you saying you would accept me as your husband once I provide you with evidence?”
I hissed. “That’s if you don't tamper with it.”
“I have other important things to do rather than do that.” He made sure to flash me a smile–which I found much to my irritation–sexy.
“Are you going to stand smiling at me all day long, or are you going to bring me proof of our wedding together?” I asked.
Still maintaining his closeness, and without looking away from me, he dipped his hand into his pocket.
“Here is the proof you badly want, dear wife.” He grabbed my wrist, and dumped a white, neat looking folded paper on my palm.
“I hope you will start being my wife after going through its contents.” He muttered, gesturing to the paper in my hand.
“I earnestly hope I won't.” I retorted before lowering my eyes down to the paper in my hand.
It was all I could do not to tremble as my hand opened the paper. I knew whatever I would see will be to my own disadvantage, yet, I didn't stop.
My lashes blinked rapidly as my eyes took in my name boldly written in my own writing.
Wait. How the hell? What was happening?
“Now,” Alpha Axton gripped my chin, forcing me to look up at his face. “Do you agree that you belong to me?”
“Belong to you?” A snicker slipped out of my throat. “In your fucking dream.”
His grip tightened, I winced at the pain I felt.
“Are you bent on provoking me?” His voice was low, but it sounded hoarse. “Don’t fucking test my patience, Kayla.”
I didn't want to, I honestly didn't want to, but his voice, h
is gaze, his tight grip on my chin, and the way he called my name, my body reacted with that one emotion I swore never to feel towards him.
Fear.
KaylaThe kiss was becoming intense, as the seconds rolled by, I could feel myself slowly sinking into his touches.Lara wasn't helping matters, if anything, she wanted to take control of my body.Hell no way was I going to allow that. Lara was sure to cause chaos.Axton's finger trailing down my thighs forced my eyes open. Gosh, I still can't believe I actually closed my eyes while kissing someone I claimed to hate.He was just a touch away from my center when I gave him a push off my body. “What was that for?” I shot at him. “Do you go around kissing anyone and every woman you come across?”“No,” He shook his head slightly. “Only you, my love. Would it make you feel any better if I tell you right now you are the first woman I've ever kissed?”His eyes looked over my face, slowly dragging down to my cleavages. “Does it?” He asked again.“Cut the crap Axton. It doesn't make me feel better, and it never will.”“Really?” An amused smile played on the corner of his
Kayla“Are you glad?” “Huh?” I blinked twice, and stared at him, confusion everywhere on my face.“Glad about what?” I queried while looking as calm as I could afford to.He pursed his lips as if he were in deep thoughts, then he said, “I don't know, maybe you are glad your father doesn't need to be all false about his love towards you.”I scoffed. “As if I care.”“Oh, you do care.” He chuckled. “When I look at you, I see a lady deprived of real parental love. You might act like you hate him, but I know you don't.”“I thought I only had a husband, never knew he had some talents… face reader.” I scoffed. “Don’t act like you know me, you don't.”Another chuckle slipped out of his throat. “You should be happy, because there is nothing about you that I am unaware of.”“Don’t get ahead of yourself yet, Alpha Ferrell.” I dragged out his name. “I never agreed to be your woman.”“My woman?” He repeated. I looked away the moment I realized I had my eyes in him all thes
KaylaThe walk was a silent one, not that I'd appreciate any conversation between–a Luna, and her maid–anyway.‘Is that you acknowledging the fact that you are Alpha Axton's Luna?’ I knew that voice. Lara was teasing me.I rolled my eyes at her, and muttered a low ‘shut the fuck up.’She giggled quietly, but said nothing more, until we got to what looked like a study. A private study room rather.“Are you sure he is here?” I asked her, as her eyes looked over the sandalwood door. She nodded. “Yes Luna.” She bowed respectfully, and walked away leaving me torn between going inside or leaving.I ended up choosing the former.A small push, and a little weight on the door, it opened, almost sending me to hit my forehead on the marble floor. After the shock of almost falling down wore off, I straightened. My eyes roamed over the dark room, I couldn't see a thing despite how much I squinted my eyes. Whatever was a sane person doing in a very dark room such as this o
Kayla“Let go of me.” My voice was a helpless stutter. I hoped he didn't see the fear in my eyes.He first tightened his grip, then he let go, gave my chin a soft rub before taking a step backwards. The moment he moved away from me, his expression hardened, when he opened his mouth and started to talk, his voice was icily cold.It felt like he was a different person altogether, like someone with multiple personalities. “This would be your room from today onwards. Until you fully acknowledge me as your husband, this is where you will stay, far and away from the main packhouse.”Without sparing me another glance, he stalked out of the room. After the door closed behind him, I exhaled rather sharply and sank down on my knees.‘He’s so scary, I don't like him again.’ Lara remarked, startling me a bit.‘I never did, but I'm glad to hear your confession.’ I muttered with a snort.‘At least, he is way better off than your so-called annoying jerk of an ex.’ She hissed.‘Don’t talk about Raven

KaylaWhen my eyes opened again, I was no longer in my room but inside a dark looking room.I blinked twice and struggled to adjust to the darkness at the same time, I wondered where I was.I didn't wonder for long as the door to the room I was in opened and someone entered. In the still darkness, I made out the silhouette of a man. He closed the door behind him and stood by the door for a long time then he walked fully inside.Whoever he was, I had no idea, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't see his face. The only thing I managed to make out was his white hair.“I can see you are awake.” He said. His voice was deep and husky yet it sounded sexy to my ears.Weird.“Why did you abduct me?” I shot at him. Alpha Axton was the only person who came to mind. No one, absolutely no one would dare venture into Crestmoon pack and abduct the Alpha's daughter.Outside, everyone believed I was the favorite amongst the two of us, so no one would want to taste the wrat
