Angry Emotion.

"Adaline, we need to have a serious talk, now!".

Without waiting for a reply from Adaline, she walked into the dimmed room with a grey, black and white color decor, she sat on a couch beside the bed and stared arrogantly at Adaline and Adaline returned the stare with a frown on her delicate face.

Adele scoffed loudly as she rolled her eyes towards the heaven, a mockery smile played on her lips.

"Oh my bad, how could I forget that you are actually dumb and can't talk so I should say it this way, I want you to listen to me very good. Since we can't have a conversation, I'll do the talking and you listen and listen good"

Adele stared at Adaline, making sure her words sank in. On a normal bright day, she never cared about anything that had to do with Adaline because to her, a dumb girl wasn't worth her time and attention, she hated the fact that she shared the same face with someone who did nothing but brought ugly remarks from the public to their family. Adele never liked it when people talked about Adaline whether good or bad while they ignored her presence and that was why she always did everything she could to get noticed and praised from people. Ever since she was a child, she loved being noticed and hated to be a background.

But now, it seems like she would need to acknowledge Adaline's presence and make sure that Adaline would never get married to Mr Drew.

"I want to go to that lunch date with Mr Drew in replace of you"

It sounded more like an order to a question, Adaline just stood where she was without saying a thing but her face was crumbled in question. As much as she would have loved to consider Adele's offer but she hated her manner of approach. She never knew Adele as someone arrogant and it made her wonder what exactly was the reason why Adele was obsessed with marrying Mr Drew, yes obsession because Adaline now knew that Adele would stop at nothing to get married to Mr Drew. Now she was getting more curious about seeing who Mr Drew was in terms of appearance. She continued staring and Adele stared back with an air of arrogance.

"Are you going to stand there and stare the whole day? I know you never wanted this marriage in the first place and that's why am bringing you a good offer, then I'll take your silence as a yes."

She stood from the couch ready to take her steps to leave the room and prepare her self to look more like Adaline, that is, wearing a wig with a dark color to make it look like Adaline's hair and a dark contact lenses to change her brown eyes to look like Adaline's eyes and everything is done, the only thing that would be left was to play dumb and act like a living dead just like Adaline. If there was anything to differentiate the twin was the difference in their hair, eyes and behavior.

But she suddenly saw Adaline shook her head negatively with her face showing an angry emotion which took Adele by surprise because she had never seen Adaline express herself emotionally whether happy or angry.

"What? Are you rejecting my offer now? You have the nerve to say no, you ingrate bitch!"

Adele was now angry as she glared hard at Adaline with disgust evidence on her face. Adaline was now wondering when she had accepted Adele's so-called offer, she never gave a reply so there was no way she could reject what she never accepted. If Adele had come to her in a better way, then maybe she would have agreed to let her go to the date disguised as her(Adaline) but because of her (Adele) arrogance towards her (Adaline), she would have to say no. She may be dumb but she wasn't stupid.

Adele looked intently at Adaline and she finally came to realize that the kind of method she was using on Adaline would not work at all, it would only Infuriate her where she would only come to keep rejecting, so she decided to go nicer with Adaline then maybe she would then finally comply.

"Alright, I understand that I am not nice but I apologize for that but please help me this once, allow me to go, just only today after all, it's still you who would get married to Mr Drew and not me so just let me go, okay?"

If Adaline didn't know better, she would have fallen for Adele's trick but she knew very well, it was all an act and it was clearly evidence with the 360 degree sudden change in her expression, although, she looked nice with the smile on her face but Adaline knew it was because she was aiming for something and the smile would not stay too long on that face before the pretence would wear off.

Adaline's angry face turned to the one of tiredness and confusion as if she was confused about Adele's reason why she wanted to marry Mr Drew by all means, then was tired that no matter how she wracks her brain, no reasonable answer could pop in and all the more was she seriously curious to know who Mr Drew was that Adele was suddenly behaving out of it.

Adele saw the change in Adaline's expression and wanted to scratch out Adaline's eyes, she clenched her fist as she tried to hide her anger. She knew that unlike her, Adaline had no idea what Mr Drew looked like in real life and thought he was an old ugly man but only she knew how handsome he was and she wanted to marry him. It should have been her who was to be his wife and not her dumb sister and she could not sit and watch Adaline shatter her dreams for her in the name of business marriage.
