Chapter 86

Flashback...

Oliver made his way down the stairs for the fourth time that evening, smirking to himself as he anticipated what was to come tonight. It was his twentieth birthday, and his family had pretty much outdone themselves in preparation of what was being described as the coming of age of the century. At first, it was meant tobe a surprise. But how do you surprise an alpha's son? He had pretty much heard the very first conversation they had had about the party, and had made himself visible, unable to hold his excitement.

"Oliver! Can you please get me a scissors on your way back? This one is broken!" Darcy called from somewhere outside. Oliver groaned. He should have stayed out of it when he had first heard about their plans.

Oliver picked up the scissors and was making his way downstairs when Laura suddenly blocked his path, grinning from ear to ear.

“I got you a birthday present.” Laura said almost immediately, pushing a box to his chest.
