CHAPTER 15

During all this chaos a pair of eyes kept staring at Selena. She noticed it, a pair of eyes, showing hate, anger, and envy. Amelia Tate, Joshua’s daughter’s gaze that lingered on Selena.

Selena didn’t look like she was from the rural area. Her skin was fair and soft, and her face was small and pretty. The dress she had on was a limited edition dress Amelia had tried to get her hands on but it was suddenly bought overnight.

She wondered who the heiress that snatched it from her fingertips was but seeing Selena now, she wasn’t any heiress, just a country girl who thought she could waltz into the world of the elites. Her eyes were brimming with jealousy and hatred.

From birth, she was treated like a princess. When Hannah and Aurora Tate along with Christopher Lomborn, Hannah’s husband passed, she was the only granddaughter of the Tate household, and even Duncan Tate, her uncle spoiled her. Now Selena appeared from nowhere, stealing her spotlight.
