Rose’s POV

The memory of the last visit to this bar lingered in my mind like a faint, unsettling echo. I kept trying to convince myself it was just because it was my first time here that everyone had stared at me, maybe I had just looked out of place. I had to believe that, or I’d never step foot in here again.

But despite the unease, I had found no other bar around that gave me the same atmosphere. The dim lighting, the soft low hum of music, the smell of aged spirits — it was comforting in a strange way, and I couldn’t stay away. I convinced myself that going back was an exercise in courage, in normalcy, in simply existing without feeling… abnormal.

The streets were quiet that evening, the city bathed in the soft glow of neon lights, reflecting on puddles from the earlier rain. My heart thudded lightly, not from fear but from a strange anticipation, as though the night itself knew I was returning here, for reasons I didn’t yet understand. I pushed the door open and stepped inside, the familiar mix of smoke, alcohol, and something else — something I still couldn’t identify — greeting me.

Most of the patrons ignored me this time, or perhaps I had grown used to the gazes. I was about to sigh in relief when the door at the inner room opened, and a familiar presence filled the space with a magnetic pull.... Damion?.

Damion’s POV

The inner room of the bar was my private corner, where no one dared disturb me unless I allowed it. I was reviewing certain vampire matters in my mind when the door opened, and my senses caught her immediately. That peculiar scent, so unlike anything I had encountered before, hit me instantly — subtle, elusive, and yet impossibly alluring.

It was her. The human… the anomaly. She stood there with that same fearless aura, unaware of the chaos her presence caused in my senses. My first reaction was instinct — to approach cautiously, measure the situation. But something in her stance, in her confident defiance, made me pause.

“Rose,” I said, my voice sharp, almost cutting through the air. A greeting, but not warm. I had never needed to be polite, and certainly not to a human.

Her expression didn’t falter. She didn’t flinch. She didn’t even glance away. Instead, she smiled faintly, as if daring me to maintain my sharp tone.

Rose’s POV

I froze for just a second, my heartbeat skipping. He was here, standing in the bar where I thought I might feel safe. For a fleeting moment, every precaution I had taken, every rational thought I clung to, vanished. His presence was overwhelming — sharp, commanding, and yet, impossibly magnetic.

But I reminded myself — I had no reason to fear him. I didn’t even fully know what he was. And if I wanted to show any semblance of control over my life, I had to act normal.

“Sit with me,” I said, my voice steady even if my pulse betrayed me. “It’s my treat, as a… thank you. For… well, for the last time.” I waved vaguely, trying to cover my awkward phrasing.

His eyes narrowed, not in anger but in surprise. He hesitated, clearly unaccustomed to anyone.

“Why would I…?” he started, his words clipped, his tone a razor.

“I insist,” I interrupted. “I want to. Sit. Now.”

The air between us charged with tension. Every patron in the bar suddenly seemed aware, shifting their attention subtly, their whispers almost audible. I could feel it in the way their heads turned, the way their eyes widened, perhaps they sensed the magnitude of his presence. And yet, I felt strangely detached from their curiosity. My focus was entirely on him.

Damion’s POV

Her audacity was infuriating and yet… intriguing. She commanded my attention without even trying. That was rare. Very rare.. She did none of that. She stared at me with a boldness I hadn’t encountered before, and my instincts warned me, yet I found myself drawn to her insistence.

Finally, I gave in, though not without resistance. I took a step closer, allowed her to guide me, and sat beside her. The close proximity was unsettling in more ways than one. I could smell her faint perfume — subtle, human, yet carrying an indefinable layer that stirred something deep within me.

“Fine,” I muttered, as much to myself as to her. “I’ll sit. But don’t think this changes anything.”

Rose’s POV

I grinned subtly, almost triumphantly, sensing the slight shift in his posture. He had hesitated, yet here he was, beside me. My heart thudded, but I kept my composure. I raised my glass and clinked it gently against his. “To… interesting encounters,” I said.

He stared at me, the corner of his lips twitching — whether in amusement or exasperation, I couldn’t tell. The rest of the bar seemed frozen in time, patrons now whispering and stealing glances. Their shock was almost palpable. I noticed a few bar attendants stepping back, nervous under the weight of his presence.

“You realize everyone here is staring at us,” I said,

"And?" his voice lower, controlled, dangerous.

His eyes flickered briefly. A flicker of amusement or disbelief, I couldn’t tell. But the next thing he did made my stomach twist. He leaned back slightly, his posture relaxed but commanding, as if daring anyone to comment.

“Fine,” he said, his voice sharp but edged with something I couldn’t name. “But know this — my uncle owns this bar. You should be aware of that before acting too… casually.”

I smiled faintly, feigning nonchalance. “Is that so?” I murmured, raising my glass again. “I didn’t realize. My mistake.”

Damion’s POV

I watched her, perplexed and intrigued. She didn’t flinch, didn’t bow to the implied authority in my words. Most humans would have trembled at the notion of my family’s influence, but she acted as if it were meaningless. That was impossible… and yet, it was happening.

Every muscle in my body urged me to dominate, to assert, to remind her of the hierarchy she was dangerously ignoring. Yet, something about her presence made me hesitate. She wasn’t afraid. She wasn’t intimidated. And that audacity was… disarming.... What is she?.

I scanned the room subtly, ensuring no one tried to interfere. Everyone was aware of me — their vampire king... sitting with a prey that is cleary unaffected by the unspoken gravity of my presence.

Rose’s POV

I took a slow sip of my drink, letting it settle, letting the tension linger. The air was thick between us, charged, like a storm about to break. I noticed the way the bar shifted subtly with our presence. Eyes darted, whispers carried, and yet, I felt an odd sense of control..

Who is he?... Why do they look tensed while he's here

Here, I had chosen to be fearless. Here, I had chosen to challenge him.

“You’re… surprisingly compliant,” I said lightly, letting a teasing note edge my words. “I didn’t expect you to actually sit.”

He glared at me, though his gaze softened just slightly. “I comply when it suits me,” he replied tersely, his tone sharp, but not entirely dismissive.

I leaned slightly closer, letting the subtle movement carry an air of familiarity, even friendship, without overstepping. “Well, consider it a rare occasion, then,” I said with a small smile.

Damion’s POV

Her confidence, her ease, her ability to speak without fear — it unnerved me more than anything. I was the Vampire King, accustomed to absolute control, and yet, here she was, challenging it effortlessly. My instincts warred with logic, control with curiosity.

I felt the magnetic pull of her aura, that inexplicable draw that made my thoughts scramble. I couldn’t read her — her mind was a sealed vault. My senses told me she wasn’t fully human, not in the conventional sense, and yet, she walked among humans effortlessly.

I had to know more.

Her nerve, her fearlessness, her ability to assert herself — it was unparalleled. I had expected compliance, avoidance, perhaps even fear. But none of that appeared. Instead, I found myself drawn into this dynamic, caught between authority and curiosity, dominance and intrigue.

What is she??...

Rose POV The excitement of the moment didn’t end there. The next week. My mother, Caleb, and Matthew guided us to the wedding hall...a grand place, decorated with the blend of wolf tradition and human elegance. Silver crescents and soft lights hung overhead. The air vibrated with energy, and I could feel the other wolves present, acknowledging us, ready to celebrate. Adrian squeezed my hand, and I felt his power radiate through me. I knew I could trust him completely, not just with my life, but with my heart. The seer was there too, calm ,her eyes softening as she saw the bond between us. She had guided us through so much, and now she was witness to our choice, our union. The ceremony began. Adrian and I stepped forward, our paws and hands entwined, facing each other fully. We looked into each other’s eyes...the wolf and the half-wolf, the alpha and the Luna...and we spoke our vows. Not just words, but promises born from hardship, survival, love, and mutual respect. "I pro

Rose POV When I opened my eyes, all I saw was… him. ..Adrian. His face hovered above mine, relief shining in his eyes, mixed with the sharp intensity of an alpha who had feared the worst. “You’re awake,” he said softly, his hand brushing my hair back. His voice...calm, warm, unwavering...was a lifeline. I blinked slowly, trying to take in the scene. The streets were gone. The chaos was gone. The smell of blood and fire faded. And yet… I could feel the lingering heat of the light I had released, the echoes of power rippling inside me. “Did… did we win?” I asked, my voice hoarse, barely audible. Adrian’s eyes softened. “Yes. You… we won. But you’ve been asleep for two weeks.” “Two… weeks?” My chest tightened. My mind spun. Two weeks gone in a flash? “Yes,” he said, his thumb brushing my cheek. “The vampires are defeated. Some humans were lost, yes… but mostly, they were protected. And the rest… humans don’t know anything. The government has been guided. They think it wa

Rose POV Everything around me was chaos. I could feel it vibrating through the ground beneath me, in the air around me, in my chest. Wolves were falling. Humans were screaming. Vampires… their eyes burned with red fire, teeth bared, claws slashing anything that moved. I could hear the crack of bones, the tearing of flesh, the roar of alpha wolves trying to hold back the tide. I wanted to run, but my legs felt heavy. My heart pounded so fast I thought it might burst. And all I could think was… I am the Luna. I am the bridge between the worlds. And yet… I can’t save anyone. I can’t stop this. Fear gripped me. The weight of everyone depending on me… it was suffocating. Then Kate landed me a blow...I fell. And then, almost instinctively, I focused. I closed my eyes. I felt the pull of something deep inside me, something I had barely understood until now : my connection to the spiritual realm, to the Luna power I had carried all along. I whispered into the chaos: "Luna spirit

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   95. The Red Night.

Adrian POV The sky turned red. Not slowly. Not gently. One moment the night was dark like any other night, and the next moment the moon changed. A deep red light spread across the sky, painting the world in a strange color. The Blood Moon had come. Humans looked up in curiosity. News channels spoke calmly, calling it a rare natural event. Scientists explained it. People took pictures. Some even celebrated it. They didn’t know. They didn’t know what it meant. They didn’t know that this night decided the fate of their world. All the wolves gathered. Not in the human world. But in the spiritual realm. The air there felt heavy. Sacred. Powerful. Every wolf stood in their true form. No lies. No hiding. Just strength. Just instinct. Just spirit. Rose stood beside me. Caleb stood behind us. The strongest wolves from all over the world surrounded us. Alphas. Leaders. Warriors. Everyone was ready. The Seer had prepared the chants. Rose and I stepped forward together. O

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   94. Before The Blood Moon.

Rose POV I never imagined my life would turn into this. A few weeks ago, I was just a normal girl. I worried about work, traffic, bills, and simple things. Now, I stood in the middle of a large training field, surrounded by powerful wolves, learning how to survive a world I didn’t even know existed years ago. The morning air was cool, but my body was warm from movement. “Again,” Caleb said. I exhaled slowly and adjusted my stance. Adrian stood a few steps away from me, watching carefully. Matthew stood beside him, his arms folded, his eyes sharp and observant. I moved forward and attacked. Caleb blocked easily. Too easily. Before I could recover my balance, he tapped my shoulder lightly. “If that was a real fight,” he said calmly, “you’d be on the ground already.” I groaned. “I know.” Matthew stepped forward. “You’re thinking too much,” he said. “Stop trying to fight perfectly. Just react.” I nodded. I was tired. But I didn’t want to stop. Because this wasn’t practi

  • BETROTHED TO MY LUNA OF TWO WORLDS   93. The Bond Accepted.

Adrian POV The night felt different. Heavy. Sacred. Alive. The full moon hung high in the sky, brighter than I had ever seen it. Its silver light spread across the sacred grounds like a blessing from the Moon Goddess herself. Wolves had gathered from everywhere. Alphas. Betas. Leaders. Elders. The strongest wolves across territories stood in silence around the shrine. No one spoke loudly. No one moved unnecessarily. Everyone understood what tonight meant. This ritual would decide everything. My fate. Her fate. Our future. I stood at the front of the shrine, my hands relaxed at my sides, but inside me, power moved restlessly. It had been unstable since the last ritual failed. My body had recovered, but my spirit still carried the strain. Beside me stood Rose. She looked nervous. Her fingers kept moving slightly, like she was trying to stay calm. Her breathing was slow but not steady. I glanced at her. She met my eyes. There was fear there. But there was also tru
