Twenty-four: Fight, Apology.

My smooth eyebrows curved into a deep glare. Instantly, I wanted to grab Liam and spank his butt. What was always wrong with this child? Couldn't he understand that there was a limit to things he could say?

"Liam." My harsh tone made his cunning look form into a fearful one. "What did I tell you about speaking nonsense? Do you need to be punished?!" I squealed at him and jerked away from Jace's hold. 

Stomping to Liam as I felt so annoyed, I grabbed him by the arm and bent to reach his short height. "What did I tell you?!" I yelled at him. 

"Mommy." He started to cry loud. "I'm so sorry. I was only joking with you. I'm sorry."

"Sorry?!" I continued to shout at him. "Did I not tell you to not repeat this mistake again? Did I not?! You're a small boy so you shouldn't say things like that!"

He whimpered and raised his hands to rub
