"Are you out of your mind, Taliyah Lavianna?!" Vicky's voice was filled with disturbance when I told her every detail that happened the night when Davien went here.

"Vicky, why can't you just be happy for me? You know how much I love him. Everyone deserves a second chance." I sighed and brushed my hair with my fingers.

"That line is overused, Talianna! Just admit that you really are gullible!"

She groaned out of frustration. "Talianna, listen. I'm just worried about you. What if he'll do it again? You'll forgive him? He cheated! There's no justification for he did! I don't know how the hell he beguiled you but god, Talianna! You're worse than I thought!"

"I know what I'm doing, Vicky. If he would ever cheat on me again, there's no way in hell I'll forgive him again," I answered coldly.
