Chapter 30: I do

He eyed me for what felt like an eternity. Eyed my curves, the naked skin of my waist, my breasts which weren't covered with a bra. I couldn't, with the open back.

His gaze finally settled on my neck, which was completely covered. No bruises were seen, no puncture marks, no skin.

Fury. Absolute fury. But also something else. Almost as if the desire I saw overtook the fury.

But then his eyes met mine again and only fury was to be seen and I knew I had imagined the desire. The hunger.

The demons around us were becoming restless as he unknowingly released his Wrath essence, causing growls to echo in the room. He managed to control himself and walked past me without attacking me on the spot, which was a relief.

As he reached the podium, and turned around, his face was a mix of pure seriousness and rage. So much rage. The power emanating from him seemed to encompass the entire kingdom.

"Kneel." He ordered with an angry voice. His eyes went to me and they blackened with anger.
