“Guys chill out, I'm your new roommate okay?” I said, as I watched his ferocious jaws near my face.
The werewolf by the right whose brown fur had a darker shade was just a few inches away from me now.
“Let her be Oliver.” The female werewolf said returning to her human self.
“Fine.” He said turning back quite quickly.
“So, who the fuck are you?” The male said, leaning down to get a closer look at me.
“My name is Elsa, Elsa Oppenheimer.”
“Huh, that doesn’t ring a bell, which means you must have really great potential to be here. I'm sorry about earlier, I am Ser Oliver Hamilton, the crown prince of Estonia.” He said holding up a serious face which made him actually look funny considering he wasn’t that kind of person.
I was still very stunned nevertheless, for before me stood the heir of Estonia, probably the greatest nation in the world.
“And I am lady Isabel Stongwill. So tell me Elsa, where are you from?” Isabel asked, walking closer now.
For the first time, I paid attention to their features. Isabel had a shimmering auburn hair that was made in a pony braided style, which went down her shoulder. She had eyes that exposed indifference as if the world bored her.
Oliver on the other hand was laced with thick honed muscles, he was quite good looking and it was no surprise since he had the alpha blood line in him. I could feel his suppressed aura, which promised to be devastating. They stood there, both clad only in the barest essentials, his worn boxer’s, her a loose bra, with her lace hanging low her hips.
“I’m from Bulgaria.” I answered, staring at them awkwardly.
“Haha, that's really funny Elsa. You’ve a good sense of humor.” Oliver said, exposing his neatly placed denticles.
“Yeah, it would have been a nice joke if it wasn’t true.” I said, accepting his outstretched arm to get on my feet.
“Elsa, are you certain your head wasn’t bumped against the loose stone when you fell.” Confusion etched on her face.
“You guys have no idea what I've been through today, okay? So please don’t add to my stress, and I’m perfectly sane.” I responded, clearly vexed.
“Are you really from Bulgaria, but that's… that's impossible.” Oliver said almost in a whisper.
“And yet, here I am, in this legendary school, fated by the gods.” I said as I approached my bed and sat down.
“If what you say is true, well then, this is no fate, it’s just a game and we are pawns of Zamora.” Isabel replied her tone subdued.
“Do you realize what this means Elsa, you’re the first in your bloodline and in your country to attend Sheffield Academy.” He added, his eyes still displaying his disbelief.
I didn’t respond, I hardly cared about the record I broke. My hand caressed the soft mattress and I laid down without hesitation, settling in it.
“Hey Elsa, you won’t report Oliver, right? You can’t do that.” Isabel said.
“Well, If you treat me well, I’m sure we can come to some sort of understanding.” I responded with my eyes closed already.
“Thats good to hear, you won’t have any complaints, Isabel is a nice person, you’ll definitely like her.” Oliver said. I couldn’t see him but It felt like he was giving Isabel a pleading look while saying this.
I heard the door shut a few seconds later. He had already left.
I felt a bitter pain in me, as I started to recount everything I've been through already. I had also lost Ser Brownwell, a great knight, and a courageous man who smiled even in death. I felt the tears escape my eyes down my cheeks. Was there really a justification for the many losses and pain I’ve faced?
I had brought this tragedy to my family. Sometimes, I feel If I had obeyed the law of nature and died that night, my parents might have been alright now.. My deep thoughts led me to my slumber.
“ELSA.” The voice echoed. I opened my eyes to find myself in a vast desert. The voice called my name again this time clearer, I turned my back but it was at that moment the aura brought me down to my knees subconsciously again.
“You have a good start, but I’m confused, don't you know what you are?” The lady said.
It was amazing because this time it was fully myself talking to me in human form.
“What? I'm Elsa. Elsa Oppenheimer, with a destiny prewritten by the gods.” I answered honestly.
“You say the right things to the wrong questions.”
“This meeting, what does it mean? Am I close to my goal.”
“I’ll be honest with you, you still have quite a long run ahead of you.” She said gently. But, I did promise I’ll see you again when you become powerful enough to be worth my time.
“You’re not telling me anything. Why do you only ask me questions and give me impossible tasks.” I responded, my frustration seeping into my words.
“Elsa, you are not given an impossible task, remember why you want to rise above the ranks of power. Alright fine, you can only ask me two questions.”
“Thank you, for my first question, can you tell me if my dad is okay?”
“Yes Elsa, he is very much alive and well.” She answered with certainty. My mind was at ease now, as I heaved a deep sigh, his safety was all that mattered.
“Okay, my next question. Who are you?”
“Hahahaha.” The mirror of myself laughed continuously, not seeming to stop any time soon.
“You have to answer my question.” I replied.
She stopped laughing and I saw myself now on the hot sand while her leg was upon me.
“Who do you think you’re to speak to me that way? You're weakling!” She exclaimed, stomping on my belly. I gasped for breath holding on to my stomach.
“Fine, can you at least tell me your name?” I tried to be as careful and humble as possible while speaking.”
“You see that, that's how Bulgaria got to where it is today it literally settled for less. Hahaha.” She laughed hysterically. I couldn’t understand her. Sometimes she behaved crazy and said things without explanation.
“I’m in a good mood, Oppenheimer, and for that I'll tell you what I am.” She said having a relaxed look now.
Was she really going to do it, or maybe it’s a trap to get me to say something. I decided to stay quiet and just watch.
“I am not a werewolf Elsa, neither am I a monster. I'm something greater, something divine and untamed, I am a god.”
“What did you just say?” Daniel replied with a raised brow.“I mean… I don’t know if I’m strong enough to take him out.”“That is your problem. Do not disappoint the alpha.”“What if I get killed or caught doing this task?”“Then you should be proud of dying for your Alpha. But if you get caught, you know better than to mention his involvement in it. I wish you the best of luck child, try not to die yet. You interest me.” He replied heading to the stairway.Great, now I’m tasked to kill an innocent person. I can’t do that. It just makes me part of the system I fight against. I didn’t want to follow the stairway so I used the balcony again, bringing myself all the way down. Jumping and sliding down different platforms till I was back in the hallway I took off from earlier.I just had a few minutes more before my lecture, I sprinted as fast as I could, I left the castle grounds in seconds, the lecture wasn’t held in one of the many spaces in the school, rather it was held in the school
ELSA’S POV It didn’t take long before I got back to the room with a big tray filled with meat. The evolution was extremely painful, I could remember literally tearing at my own skin. That wouldn’t be good in the middle of a battle, the enemy would quickly kill me. What was Alex even thinking, he almost got himself killed out there, if I had shown up a bit later than I did. It would have been an entirely different story. He looked so beaten up. Why would he risk his life that way for me? Well with the way I am now, I wonder if I could beat Salvatore in a fight. During the time I held his weapon when he was close to killing Alex, I was barely holding on. I’ve grown quite a lot but it still isn’t enough.“That was fast.” Alex said, as I entered the room.“Yeah, couldn’t keep you waiting.” I said, smiling back.He held his gaze at me for a while before turning to the food.“Alex If your sister comes in my way, I would have to kill her.”“With the way you’re right now, are you sure you
Could this be it? Would I really die this way? I recounted my past memories as the sword went down my throat. I ought to have been dead already… but I wasn’t. It was quite shocking to me that I could still breathe, I could still smell Salvatore’s scent, I could still feel the blood running through my body. I looked up now, I could see her, she held the blade firmly, I could sense the strength Salvatore used in that last attack plus the added boost of the lycan weapon, and yet she held it firmly. She looked a little different now, her jawline looked more defined, she had this look in her eyes that carried the weight of problems no one could understand. Her obsidian hair gleamed in the moonlight, somehow both darker and brighter now. Salvatore looked flabbergasted to suddenly see her holding onto his staff, he had already frozen on the spot, he stood afterwards returning the weapon to his dimensional ring.“Elsa, you’re okay.”“Yes I’m well now.” She replied. She looked at me with a
ALEXANDER’S POV My werewolf form enlarged gradually, to the point where Salvatore had to tilt his head back just to meet my gaze. I towered slightly above the trees, looking down at him like he was an insect.“FOR THE LAST TIME SALVATORE, MOVE!” My voice rang with authority. The transformation had deepened my voice as well, making it sound more commanding.“I’m sorry prince but that won’t be happening, you might have to kill me first.” He responded.“Then so be it.” I replied in finality. I made a large slash at him, he tried his best to evade the strike, but it was no use, the attack was to big for him to dodge, and it ended up getting him in the arm. Salvatore hawled in pain, while limping to the side.“You would have to do more than that.” He replied, as the injury healed up quickly. The hound form carried a single flaw, it lacked the normal speed my werewolf body possessed, which made me slower in my attacks but it had ten times the strength. Each attack I delivered sent ripple
ALEXANDER’S POV “What do you mean she wants to kill me! That pest! That weakling! How dare she!”“Relax Lauren, she was just angry that you killed her friend no biggie.” I said, realizing what I might have caused.“Besides, we have more pressing matters to be worried about, remember? we need to focus on that.” I added.“You do not understand Alex, you might think she is not a threat but I won’t. I’ll never underestimate an enemy, that would be foolishness.” Lauren retorted. We were currently in her room which is on the vip section for the School council members. We had discussed a number of things, I even told her about my new found interest in a beautiful lady called Elsa, but it seems that was my biggest mistake. Lauren was never someone who tolerated weakness, not to talk of a nobody from Bulgaria. I told her how beautiful Elsa is, but she felt that didn't matter since Elsa, had a weak bloodline, but that wasn’t my worst mistake, i had accidentally told her about how she wa
“Oh my, it’s finally nice to meet the prodigy Elsa. I’m so proud of you child. I myself never went to Sheffield Academy neither did my father or the one before him, but to think it would finally be a girl to achieve such a fit.” Alpha Lucifer said, holding my hand gently to his.His beta had taken me to one of the rooms in the castle, where Lucifer stood facing the window, a walking stick poised gracefully in his right hand. As soon as he saw me he walked up to me hugging me like we had known each other forever. He then commanded his beta to leave us, he motioned for me to have a seat.“My dad, is he safe?.” “Fortunately, the warden wasn't able to get hold of him, it seems he had already fled for his life.”“The warden killed my mother in cold blood.”“Oh, that’s not the story I heard. I did a background check on you. The only relation in the world you’ve is your dad, a criminal just like you, your bloodline is weak. So how can you be here?” Lucifer said, his facade suddenly droppi
